Perfect cushion to sit on for the chairs that get flat after sitting on them for a while. I use this for work since my work shifts are 12 hours and it does get uncomfortable sitting for so long. This cushion makes it so much better, don't need to keep shifting to find a non flat spot on my chair anymore. I highly recommend this to anyone.

Fell off the ladder to our loft a few weeks ago and landed on my tailbone. This cushion has helped me sit for longer periods of time with much more comfort. I am a plus size woman and the pillow works well for me. I don't know if a small person would find it as comfortable. Some people in other reviews mentioned that it was very hard. When it first came out of the packaging it was pretty hard but it became softer fairly quickly. Seems to be very well made.
The seat size is very generous to accommodate many body types, and definitely helps with back and sciatica issues. I am very thin and lack "natural padding", so the design is perfect for me as I am petite. The cushion is very comfortable, gives me extra height in my car, and would be an asset for anyone chair-bound. This is the best cushion I have found!
I was a bit surprised to find that the cushion arrived in a zippered plastic bag. I'm confused as to the purpose of the bag. It could be used as a storage bag, but don't you buy this cushion to use it? The second thing that surprised me is the number of reviewers who complained about how hard the cushion is. For what it's worth, I'm a 6 foot male who weighs 220 pounds, and maybe because of my weight the cushion compresses very quickly when I sit on it. No need for me to wait five minutes for it to get softer. I've been experiencing some discomfort from sitting on a rather thinly padded chair, especially since I often end up sitting on the edge of the chair instead of being in an upright position. This cushion actually forces me to sit the way I am supposed to sit in a chair. I don't sit for eight to twelve hours at a time, so I can't comment on the effectiveness of the cushion for extended periods, but I can say that it is very comfortable for three or four hours at a time. I haven't had the cushion long enough to determine if it will hold up, but so far I am quite satisfied with it.
When I injured my tailbone two and a half months ago, I first bought two pillows from the drug store: a regular doughnut pillow and an inflatable doughnut pillow. Neither provided any relief. Then I bought an expensive pillow from a store that specializes in items for people with orthopedic issues. It was a little better, but disappointing for the money I spent and I still couldn’t sit even remotely comfortably. Finally, someone recommended this product and I decided to give it a shot. What a difference! At last I was able to sit without a lot of pressure on my coccyx, whether driving my car, eating at the dinner table, or sitting on the couch watching TV. I’m sorry I wasted my time and money on the other cushions. This one is worth every penny!
All I can say is throw away those cheap pillows and buy this one. I fell on ice and fractured the tip of my spine. WOW... never expected the pain. Think about it... they can't put a cast on this type of injury. So I made a trip to Wallyworld and bought a cheap donut air pillow. NOT! Then I bought this Cylen pillow. Extremely well made, Has a soft cover with a non-slip bottom along with a little carry handle. I must say I expected the foam to be to soft and immediately compress but was pleasantly surprised. At 250 lbs it allowed me to set with little or no pain. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
