I came to write this review because this clock is superb and want to help others make their decision. I would like to list all the pros I have observed so far:
- It has a nice, simple design.
- The extra large display allows even someone like me (-9 power eyesight) can see the time without glasses on, which is a very pleasant thing to experience.
- The brightness control is analog, not digital. It gives you a very smooth control with a turning knob. I would hate to be pressing a button 10 times to adjust the brightness.
- The alarm is smart enough to distinguish weekdays vs. weekends, therefore I can set up different times. It can replace a smartphone alarm, which helps you sleep better (if you know what I mean...!)
- The sound is simple yet effective at waking you up.
I couldn’t find any cons yet. You should go for it.
The alarm clock functions great and the numbers are nice and large. I can also adjust the brightness of the display. The two convenient USB ports in the back work great for charging my phone and other devices. This is a great product if you are looking for an alarm clock.
I like pretty much all the features of the clock as it pertains to clock functions. The display is FANTASTIC. The beeping of the alarm is loud enough and it's great to be able to adjust the time for the snooze alarm clear up to 60 minutes (I like about 17-20 minutes), as well as the highly adjustable brightness. The clock is also extremely lightweight.
(NOW CHANGED TO 5 STARS) I give it only 3 stars, though, because I have a problem with the USB ports. I tried to charge both a phone and a kindle via the ports, and in both cases (together and separately) it constantly connects & disconnects, causing the devices to beep over and over again. So if you are buying it because you REALLY like the USB ports feature, I'd say try a different clock.
UPDATE 12/22/18
The vendor contacted me about my review and offered to replace the clock. I had not returned it because I love the clock so much just as a clock. I accepted their offer & tested out the new one. It works PERFECTLY, including the USB ports. I tested one port at a time & both at the same time. I also made sure it was tested while plugged into a powerstrip with other things also plugged in, just in case that was a factor. Both ports worked at the same time. I guess the first clock was just a fluke(& it's still a great, working clock). Accordingly, I have amended the review to 5 stars, not only because it's such a great product but because their customer service was really great! They really bent over backwards to make sure I was happy with my purchase.
I had originally bought this at the end of August. In November I bought another one for my 85-yr-old mother, who has end-stage macular degeneration, which makes it almost impossible for her to read a clock (or much of anything else anymore). The clock is placed near her recliner & she can actually see what time it is now without having to ask. She is absolutely THRILLED with it!
Works perfectly! We use it as a desk clock on our tiny apartment work station. It's big and bright enough so we can see the time in our small kitchen, yet doesn't have a space consuming footprint. And best of all, it doesn't bother our pets at night.
This clock is very easy to see and easy to set up. The dimming feature is very nice.

Guess I’ll have to stop staying up nights searching for the perfect alarm clock. After recently buying yet another dud at Wal-Mart, I happened upon this gem and was attracted to it because it’s made by the same folks who turn out the “white noise” machine that I recently purchased and which really impressed with both its price and features.
Another winner. First, the digits are large enough to see from the backyard but are sufficiently rheostat-like adjustable to go from too bright to can’t quite make out. Second, all of the adjustment buttons are arrayed along the top of the unit (except for the easy to reach dimmer switch on the right side) so all functions can be changed by the laziest of us who can’t be bothered to pick up the unit and go searching for back-side controls.
Add to these features a really attractive case with metal stand, a back-up battery that is actually installed for the end user, and a general impression of build quality, and we have a winner.

As expected. Large digital numbers easy to read in dark— green is nice. Glad I bought it. Easy to set.
I like the clock once it was set up but a few drawbacks made setup tougher than it could've been: 1) no screw hole in clock to allow wall mount 2) power plug into clock is not right angle so also a hindrance to a flush wall mount.
To make it work as a wall mount I had to cut a small platform piece for it to rest on which I mounted to the wall allowing enough spacing for the power plug into the clock and place the clock on that. Display is nice and large, it's best feature. Recommended with a few shortcomings.
It seems a bit weird to gush about an alarm clock but here I go. It is slender in width making it fit just about anywhere. The brightness of the display can be made dimmer by a simple dial on the right side. I set my work week time on alarm 1. It turns itself on around 8pm. There is no radio function just an alarm but it works fine for me.
