Just point the remote and Awesome. I order two packs and any remote works for both. I don't think it matters how many lights you have the remote works for all. The remote goes like 2 feet so Have to point it at (front) map light and point it at dome (back) lights. I love it, leave car (light) switch to on, then turn off and on by remote. However if lights are turn off by remote then car on and off switch will not work, these lights work with car switch and or remote. Just peel paper off the back and these light could be placed anywhere. When these lights are adjusted all the way up by remote they are Super Bright kind of blinding to look at. (Led) is more of a white light. I have two lights up front and one by (Dome) or in middle and its a lot of light. You can choose any color or set it to change color rapidly like a night club. They are (2 in long and 1 3/4 in tall) so a square block with a sticky back. I have a problem with my map light so had to run a power wire from dome to map, so basically the positive is bridged together, works great. These lights are Bright, easy to install, and just a lot of Fun.
These LED panels were installed into a '99 Chevrolet Astro van and fit into the interior domes well. I was able to place two in the rear lamp & one each in the center and front domes which are smaller due to the "eyeball" map lights mounted next to them. These lights are a Blue White light that probably is somewhere near a 5000K Kelvin Color Scale light. For some this may not be a pleasant color but it does give good light quality in the dark for me personally. They come with 3 different adapters the Festoon is the one I utilized. I felt the Festoon was a bit short as it just bridged the clips. Aside from this the item worked as required.
I purchased these to use with a homemade light for my tool cart at work. (I put two in a small project box and attached a 27 inch GoPro gooseneck arm with a clamp on one end.) These 12 volt lights are designed to replace a dome light bulb in your car and are very bright. They come with multiple connectors to plug right into your existing car wiring. The also have adhesive on the back side to stick in the dome light housing. As I mentioned, they are very bright but they do get hot. I wouldn't recommend leaving it on for an extended period of time, say 30 minutes or more.
Used this product to convert 12v light fixtures on boat in order to reduce amp draw. They seem to provide more light than the bulbs and the amp draw improved substantially. They do give off a bluish/white light compared to the soft yellow glow of an incandescent. Easy to install but the rounded reflector in the fixture required additional adhesive to adhere. (in my case epoxy). I bought additional units for the cabin and I would recommend them to a friend.
These lights are awesome!!!!! Worth every penny. I was skeptical when I ordered the, but I am glad I got them. I placed 2 in my 2007 FJ Cruiser and 2 in my 2010 Toyota Tacoma. I actually bought a set specifically for the Tacoma. But once I saw them in the FJ, I compared them with the brightness of the Tacoma LED's and went with these instead.

Very bright, good array of socket adapters, though I usually cut the wires and soldered the connections. The 3M sticky pad seems to work well, but we shall see in the long run in the Southern California heat.
These are very nice lights. They are very bright. They come with three different styles of connectors and fit many different sizes. The only drawback is that because they are panels they dont fit inside all housings. But they do come with sticky backs allowing you to adhear them next to the housing. Great buy.
