I was skeptical at first, since I've never had good luck with those xxx mirrors, and they seem too small for full face makeup. This mirror is actually really great -- the square size gives enough room to see everything I need, and the magnification is excellent.
The lighting is nice and bright (though not blinding) and the suction to hold it to the mirror is VERY secure. Setting it up was a breeze.
Due to the suction cup, the mirror does stick out about 4-5 inches from my regular mirror -- this is a plus for me, so I don't have to lean so far over my bathroom sink, but maybe wouldn't be as nice for someone with a narrower counter.
This makeup mirror has a nice, clean appearance, and PLENTY of magnification to get you as up close and intimate as you need to be. It comes packaged in a nice box, easy to assemble and apply to a clean mirror. My wife is a fan already. I might wish it had ability to adjust color temp, but the color as-is does render a clean, white light - not too white and "fluorescent-like". For the price including shipping, it's perfect.
BTW, we mounted it up-side down, so the on/off switch is near the bottom in the back vs. reaching toward the top of the mirror.
I purchased two of these - one for home and one for travel. The home mirror is attached to the glass mirror in the bathroom and has stuck perfectly for several weeks now, and showing no signs of slipping. The batteries have lasted fine so far with daily use of at least 10 minutes each day. For travel, the size is just at the edge of being too large but it works. Most travel mirrors are too small - this mirror is big enough and would probably not be as good if it was any smaller. Because the power button is easily engaged (which is nice at home) I remove the batteries while it's traveling in the luggage so it doesn't get turned on accidentally. The lighting is bright and the magnification is just right. It swivels nicely and stays at whatever angle you choose. If you're traveling and don't have anything to attach it to, it sits quite nicely on the suction cup on a desk or dresser and still swivels at useful angles. These are the best I've found so far, being at a reasonable price point and providing enough size and light to be useful, especially where the room lighting isn't ideal.
First off the mirror is fine, the size is right, it's adjustable, and the little compartment space below is nice. However, I'm only giving it 4 stars because of the lighting this mirror has, there's plenty of it and I like that it's LED but for me it's not the right kind of lighting. I got the mirror to have in my bedroom and even with my bedroom light on I'm not able to see the colors of my make-up correctly, it's way too dark. I was hoping it would have a natural light look to it, unfortunately the only way I can achieve that is during the day with my curtains pulled back but at that point I don't even need the light.
I’ve been looking for a nicely sized magnification mirror for awhile now. I needed one that wasn’t too expensive, one that would attach securely to my bathroom mirror and one that also included a light. This is the perfect mirror for the job! Nicely sized, this 7x magnification mirror is sturdy and well made. The suction cup is strong and it sticks tightly to my bathroom mirror but it easily detaches when I want to hold the mirror. And it’s just the right size to take along with me when I travel. Three AA battery’s is all it takes to power the light that runs around the outside edge of the mirror. I was pleasantly surprised with the price of this lighted mirror because most of the other mirrors I looked at cost quite a bit more. Great price, great size, great features—

I have tried several different kinds of magnifying mirrors and I have finally found THE ONE. It sticks to your mirror very securely. It is large enough to see your whole face which is perfect for applying makeup. The lights are amazingly helpful. You don’t have to stand too close to it to see. I could go on and on. Just buy it! You won’t regret it! It’s literally changed how I feel about being able to apply makeup and doing my eyebrows!
I was really happy to get a magnifying mirror, with lights, that is high quality and at a decent price. I was a bit disappointed that the suction does not work on walls or basically anything that is not a mirror. My bathroom mirror is really far away from where I stand and I ended up having to attach this to it anyways so it did not help me solve the problem of having to do my makeup sitting on the sink....
My search for the perfect travel mirror is over. I have purchased upwards of ten types of lighted magnifying mirrors from inexpensive to VERY pricey. The lights were too dim, the mirror too distorted, too heavy in luggage, requires electricity (a real problem when traveling abroad), etc. This is finally the answer, and just in time for a busy year of travel. Thrilled with this purchase.
Looks a bit cheap, but it does the job. The mirror, with a few twists, does attach firmly to my bathroom mirror. The lights are bright enough to see your fact for putting on makeup. I'm sure it would be good for other purposes - like getting a stubborn earring in, getting aneyelash out of your eye, or providing a larger view if you have trouble getting in contacts.
I was impressed with quality and size of this mirror. The light is bright and magnification makes putting on makeup easy. I tried sticking it to different surfaces and it stayed put. Good size to carry in an overnight bag. I initially purchased because I needed a magnifying mirror for my trailer and now I find myself taking it on trips in my overnight bag.
