I bought this as replacement for an older food sealer that has not been working well. I saw this one on Amazon and liked all the features it has. The first thing I tried was manually sealing the end of a roll of sealing bags I already had. It worked perfectly and it vacuum sealed the bag extremely quickly. It has a built in bag cutter which was one of the features i really like and this works well too. I can also select different vacuum pressure levels so it doesn't crush soft items that works well also. I am extremely happy with this sealer so that is why I gave it 5 stars which I do not do very often. If you are in the market for a vacuum sealer I highly recommend this one!
***Update *** I re-read the instructions and played with it a bit more. Per instructions, I used the manual seal button to stop the vacuum pressure. By doing this, the moist products seal much better.
The sealing element seems adequate; wish it was a little thicker.
The integrated cutting tools are phenomenal. I wish it would hold a roll of bags, since you have to insert and remove the roll every time you want to cut a bag, unless you cut all your bags first. The 15 second delay is a bit annoying if you're doing multiple bags at once.
I'm overall pleased with the unit. It doesn't get the five stars because it does not come with a wine stopper, and there was a 5% discount indluded to this unit the day after I purchased mine :-(

It works really well for dry products.
Moist...not so much. First, it's very aggresive, even in the Gentle and Moist settings. It suctions for what seems too long, and I find myself cleaning the vacuum chamber after every use with moist products. That's not going to cut it.
There is a canister attachment, but it doesn't appear this function can be used for a wine stopper, at least not with the included equipment.
I've read most reviews and the seller's responses; also viewed a number of the posted videos. I'll play with it some more tomorrow, but if I can't get it to work without having to clean the vacuum chamber after every use, I'll have to return it. I will udpate.
I like this flat like design way more than the bulky ones I have seen in local stores. This vacuum sealer fits perfectly into my drawers in my kitchen. It seals airtight and quick. Easy to figure it out. We like it. Keeps our meat fresher longer without greying out.
It often needs 2 or 3 start-stops to vacuum and seal bag. You put bag inside, press button, sometimes you even see juices flowing out of the food, but the pump is working and working without stop. You cancel, readjust bag and start again. If you're lucky on 2nd time it will seal, if not - be ready to repeat again.
When it works, it's good. I like bag cutter, attachment for sealing resealable bags, but need to repeat sealing is very annoying

I’ve been using the Cosori vacuum sealer only a short time but it seems to do the job. Although it has a built-in cutter, there is no storage compartment for a roll. However, when the cover is open, even a 50 ft roll can be laid inside and easily cut to desired size. The roll must then be removed to use the sealer. The unit lacks a removable drip tray but that has not been a problem as yet. All-in-all a nicely designed, compact, functional product.
So far, so good. Easy to use. I suggest freezing moist things before vacuum sealing to avoid sucking the juices out of meat or fruits. I'm excited to see how the food holds up.
First vacumn sealer we’ve owned,can not compare to any other unit,anyway..Packaging was perfect.Item seems well made and is sleek looking.We wanted a machine that could stay on the counter without taking too much room,this fits that bill.I found the operators manual a little lacking,after a slight learning curve,here is a couple of observations..when making your first seal from a roll of bags keep the edge of bag just past the sealing strip but not on / in the vacumn chamber,I had a couple failed seals when laying bag in the vacumn chamber. After placing food in bag place edge into center of vacumn area,it seems if you do not completely cover sucking hole it will vacumn faster with less effort.Not explained very well in the manual is after pressing vac/seal button and you want to stop vacumn such as when sealing soft items like crackers,bread,rolls push manual seal button and vacumn will stop and bag will seal.Pushing cancel button you will lose any vacumn you have.Also manual says to wait 15 seconds to let sealing strip cool a bit between sealing multiple bags,sticker in machine says to wait one minute,so if your seal is failing let machine cool down.when sealing fresh made hamburger patties the vacumn will start to suck the juice out,remember you can stop the vacumn and seal the bag at this point,just push manual seal button.i might semi freeze the burgers in the future,Finally the bag cutter is perfect,would of liked to been able to store bag rolls in machine but not a deal breaker.All in all very happy and seems to be good value.Have fun,hope this helps...
Very easy to operate, simple buttons. Seals very well. I have also used it to seal chip bags, no longer have to use clips. I am very happy with Cosori Vacuum Sealer and I would recommend this product to my friends.
To be fair, I only unboxed and used once. I will update the review if my opinion changes.
Prior to purchasing this unit, I bought another for a few buck cheaper which was returned because it wasn’t very good. I wish I would’ve saved time and went straight here.
Here’s what I like:
- ample amount of starter bags
- nice design
- easy to open and store packaging
- simple controls
- cutter! Slices bags easily without scissors
There is no reason to believe this unit will be anything less than great.
