I just opened it and was quite shocked at how small it really was. It measures out to 3.5" long / 2.5" wide / 1.5" thick. I bought it to charge my laptops on the road and they require at least 100 volts to charge. When I first tested it it read 106.2 volts with no load and I was a little worried it might drop even more under load. It does say + or - 10% of 110 volts.. Not to worry though under load this little inverter stepped up to the challenge and produced a solid 113.2 volts under load. These reading were done with my test box that does a solid consistent 12.1 volts up to 38 amps. I do have one other concern, and that it says 12volt 40 amps and don't think any power ports in cars and trucks are rated for over 30 amps. Time will tell if I end up blowing any fuses I will update my review after more use. I do customize my power ports on my vehicles to a 10 gauge wire designed to handle 30 amps with a 30 amp fuse. You would need an 8 gauge wire to run a solid 40 amps and I know of no manufactures that runs 8 gauge to their power ports. Maybe when I am bored I will run an amp draw under load to see what it does. I expect it spikes to 40 amps but runs much less. If not people would be complaining of it blowing their fuses. Looks like a great buy for the money.
I'm a breast feeding mom who has just gone back to work. I am often in and out of client'a home and driving around unfamiliar areas. I can now use my pump in the car. So thankful to have this. I only have a need for the prong plug.
Works absoluelty great. I used mine everyday for about 2 months then got my girlfriend one on sale for less than 15 bucks. You do need to remember to not leave the inverter plugged into your car while you turn it on or the surge of electricity from your car starting can overload the inverter and cause it to fail. I just got into the habit of unplugging and plugging it back in and it has been working great.
Oh my!!! What fun I have had with this little gizmo!! It arrived in perfect condition. I have used it in my 2007 Jeep JK Sahara. I was in a parade and used it to run 2 sets of Christmas lights around my Jeep at Halloween. I can't wait for Christmas to get here. It is super quiet. I didn't hear any noise, not even through the radio. It runs like a champ. Stays cool, never hot. If I could change anything about it, it would have a longer cord. But, I did use an extension cord to run lights to the back of my Jeep.
No cons at all. I bought this because I thought it’d be nice to have an AC port for long drives when I or my passengers need to charge a laptop or something like that. This thing’s so powerful that I was able to get a small microwave to work on it (know your wattage beforehand). The extra USB ports are nice too. Even with a bunch of stuff plugged into it, I never ran into situations where the converter would get too hot. Even if it were to get hot, there’s a fan in the back to expel any excess heat. Whether your a truck driver or just someone that wants a bit more convenience whenever the time comes, this adapter is a great buy.

I used this in my travel trailer to run my CPAP. It worked great. The cooling fan is quiet and I was able to run my CPAP for 6 days before needing to recharge my batteries.
I wanted a power outlet for my car so that I could use my laptop conveniently in the car. This seems to be very sturdily built. It doesn't take up a huge amount of space, and it gives me ample electric access for all the devices I want to run. The fact that it is compact and seems to be built solidly really matter to me. Have been able now to use my computer and devices conveniently from the car.
This is the perfect charger to have in the car. I bought it for traveling since we go down to the beach almost monthly. I had bought it with the intention of using it to heat up baby bottles with our bottle warmer, but the bottle warmer needed more power than was available. This was fine since I had a travel bottle warmer that plugs into the lighter- it just takes significantly longer to heat a bottle up. But, this charger did allow me to use my breast pump while going down the road! We also had our phone chargers plugged into the USB ports, and it also charged a Samsung tablet with no problems. Really happy with this purchase. I thought it would be useful to list what I was using it for because I couldn't find anything in recent reviews on it working for a bottle warmer. I use the Dr. browns bottle warmer and it does NOT work with this charger, but like I said, that's fine.
This thing has been a life saver. When I was prgnant and had terrible back pain the only thing that helped was having a heating pad on 24/7. I had to drive from St. Louis to Chicago a few times and this thing made it so I could have my heating pad, don't know if I could have made that drive with out this. Charged cell phones really fast too, runs with no noise does not get hot when running
This little device has been very handy. I often work on my laptop in my car on lunch or on trips. This device allows me to charge my laptop when I need to. But I also use it just as much if not more to charge my phone. With a standard USB charger plugged into the car's cigarette lighter I get a slow trickle charge, but with this inverter I'm able to get a quick charge similar to plugging it into the wall outlet, which makes charging my phone up in the car on my commute actually worthwhile. Instead of getting 1-5% of additional battery I can get substantially more in the realm of 10-40% depending on the length of my commute.
