Replaced two 1500w halogen lights on our sports court. Worked perfectly and can't beat the price. Made the hole larger and used a 1/2" watertight electrical box screw. Wish the legs were a little wider but that was my application.
I bought one of these then two more. I have them wired to my old 500W halogen light motion sensors and they've been great. Its hard to tell if they are brighter than the old halogens since the light is white but they light up the area around my shop just great.
Absolutely love these lights. They are much bigger than they look online, but I bought two of these lights for a security light on a motion sensor. The mounting hardware is solid. A hex nut on each side of the light to tighten the bracket. With both of these lights pointed in the same direction, it puts about 300w (1500w halogen equivalent) on the drive and actually kicks off the infra-red on my security camera, so I can see everything as if it was daylight out.
Awesome flood light! I use this with an Arlo camera and Smart Things outlet. When my Arlo camera detects movement near our mailbox at night, the flood light turns on and covers our entire driveway. I bought this 150W to replace a similar 150W led light that went bad only after a few months. This one had good reviews so I tried it.
It's brighter than my last 150W led, the housing is a good amount bigger, but that might be a good thing, maybe better cooling.
So. Far I am really happy with the light. Its on every night so It will get tested. I will update if I have any issues.
I mounted this light on a post under my carport. Can't hurt to keep it out of the weather, though it seems sturdy and should be fine in the elements. Motion sensor works great and this light completely bathes the carport and driveway with bright light. Mine's been up and working fine for several months now.
This light is as described. The light comes with a long, switched cord and the light output is very bright. I installed three of them in my shop for supplemental light (until the metal halides come up to full brightness) and am totally satisfied.
This is a great light. I mounted it over a welding table to light the area up while welding. It is extremely bright and does a great job. I plan to buy more for other areas.
Excellent light, very bright, lights up the entire space wanted for and then some. Quality seems good, hopefully it holds up, mine is mounted indoors so weather won't be and issue for it. It does get hot so make sure its mounted with the heat fins up so they work properly.
