We bought these for my daughter to replace a different set we had. The other set was very soft and fuzzy, but it kept stimulating her rooting instinct and then she would turn her head and get mad. We bought these instead and they solved the problem well. They are not super padded but are still soft and protect her little neck from the belt. We are very happy with our purchase. must have item! two negatives however...
1. the jeep logo piece is not soft and only on one side, I constantly think one is upside down as I only see one logo...
2. the item is sized to fit a full sized adult seat belt, so it is a wee bit excessive on a car seat, but will last for years to come as my daughter transitions to a booster and then to sitting in the car as a young adult... if she still want to use it... :)
the belt straps on the infant car seats tuck right up under my daughter's neck and she does not know any better than to fuss and move her head around while in the car, without this item, her neck would get sore and raw, possibly bleeding from rubbing against the seat belts on both sides of her neck!

They are lighter pink then in the picture just an FYI. We love them. So soft and stops the seat belt from rubbing on our daughters neck. Our daughter is 8 weeks old and they are perfect for an infant seat.
These are terrific. After receiving them, I don't quite understand why some reviewers are unhappy about their width ("too wide"). Yes, they're wider than the straps, but that isn't a problem. The design of modern car seats make it so there shouldn't be a lot of slide room anyway--particularly if the child/baby is strapped in properly. We used them just as they came out of the package and are completely happy with them. In fact, after receiving the first pair I ordered three more!

They aren’t as fluffy as shown on the pic. Kinda wide but for the price and softness, we love them.
These worked great! For some reason our Safety 1st seat that we use in my husband's truck came without these protective bands around the belt and my daughter (18mths) was getting red rub marks on her neck. These are soft, adjustable and work brilliantly.
