All three cats love them and I’m constantly finding that they’ve “swam” to different rooms. The Tuxedo cat often sleeps with one like a pillow.
These have become my favorite, too. Unlike the smaller toys or pillows, they don’t get disgusting from being chewed. They’re about 9” long, and almost realistic, so they -will- stand out in the room. The material has stood up extremely well: no pulled thread, and again, not disgusting after use.
The only issue has been one zipper that one of the cats managed to pull apart. (At first, we thought he’d unzipped it, which we couldn’t figure out because, you know, no opposable thumbs.) After moving and manipulating the zipper, it’s mostly fixed. The zipper option is fantastic, as opposed to the nip being permanently sewn in and unreplaceable. Moreover, these are a full-body toy, with the cats using both arms and legs to activate the catnip.
I’ve recommended these to friends outside of this review. Definitely a good buy!
I was quite impressed with the packaging. The fish are 12 inches long, big enough for my big boys to do a front-leg-round kick and hold on. This size has a zipper to add the catnip which comes in 3 glass vials which can be re-used. At first my dog wouldn't share with any of the cats, which made me realize that I could place some squeaker replacements in them and the pup will go nuts. And they are just cute! Will be getting more. And, because cats are cats, you may find they are interested for 15 minutes and then not. Then suddenly they are attacking them! Overall a great deal.
These are great! They are smooth fabric so the claws don’t get stuck. They kick the darn out of them, they are light weight so easy for a small cat too. The catnip is great. The zipper I thought was going to be a problem but my cat likes pulling on it for fun. So worth the price.
These are super cute and my cats love them! The handy refill tubes are great too. Kind of like a soft velvety fabric and very durable. Would buy again.
My cats are in heaven! Lol I totally didn’t think they would be this big! But they absolutely love them! The tubes of catnip are a really nice size too. Really good buy and deal! Definitely recommend.
