I've cooked on a Smokey Joe for over 20 years now... Without the protective cover, I get ~10 years out of a grill. Because I value things that last, in addition to purchasing this cover, I have replaced all the zinc screw hardware with stainless on my new Joe... The wooden handle from my first one got transitioned to the new, replacing the junky plastic. I'm a huge fan of the grill so a cover that protects it is worth it to me. The case holds the grill together, and provides a shoulder strap and handle, improving travel for a grill that isn't ideal for travel. I have found the quality trend for the Joe to be declining (it has to--it's stayed $30 for as long as I remember). Although, the cover isn't thick/rugged canvas like I'd prefer, I expect this cover, and hardware replacement, will help ensure that I won't need to buy another Joe. Happy Grilling!!!
I use this bag to transport my grill from home to the cabin. It fits perfectly. The quality is great. Each leg has a pad to rest on. The strap to hold the cover on is very nice. I use a carabiner clip to attach my Weber mini-chimney charcoal starter to one of the outside D-rings.
This back holds the Smokey Joe perfectly, although the material is thin and a little cheap considering the price tag. I do like that it has a strap though. For obvious reasons, be sure the Smokey Joe has completely cooled down before packing it up with this.
I mainly use this to store our Smokey Joe since we only use it when we are camping pretty much. For what I am using it for it has worked well. Covers the grill with a perfect fit and keeps it in good condition. Haven't used the strap so not sure how well that would hold up but like I said, for what I needed it for it works perfect.
Fits my new grill perfectly. It is roomy enough to hold a few utensils and spices! Well constructed with a belt for carrying. I love that I am able to carry and have 2 hands available for other things. It was only used a couple of times, so don't necessarily have a long term assessment but will post an update.

I didn't even realize they made bags for Smokey Joe BBQ's until I was browsing on Amazon one day. This fit my grill PERFECT! I always hated putting the BBQ in the car to go camping or to take it to a picnic, because dirt, dust and charcoal would get in my car every single time. This is super conveient since it prevents any debris getting in your vehicle while in transit. It also has a nice strap/handle for easy transporting. I'm definitely satisfied with my purchase.
Just what's needed to keep my smokey joe together and ready to go in the RV. Even managed to sto the small chimney starter inbetween the grates and still the case zipped closed without over stressing the case.

This bag is so nice and it is nicely designed! One thing about putting your smokie Joe in the bag, go kitty corner and take your time working it in! Because at first I didn't think it fit! Love the 💼!
