This Eye Loupe Magnifier is so cool. It has a place to attach a lanyard so you can have easy and secure access to it while you are on a nature walk. The metal cover stays in the closed position until you easily slide the cover open. This protects the lens, which is a nice perk. When the walk is over, you can put it back into the hard shell plastic case with foam overlay, which keeps it further protected. I love how the magnification brings flowers, bugs, and leaves to life. WOW! To see God's amazing creation in such detail while on a walk is a real treat. The detail shown at 10x-21mm is really stunning. You can see little hairs on the various parts of a flower; veins of a leaf; count the legs of a tiny bug, etc. I am impressed. Put this eye loupe magnifier in the hand of a child, student, or an adult and they will see a whole new world open to them. Great learning tool. Have a curious child? This is a must!! Wanna make learning about the world around you fun...this is a must! It's like having a microscope with you! And what an incredible price. Exceeded my expectations. Be sure to bring your eye down to the eye loupe, just like you would a microscope. Then adjust the distance you are from the object you are observing, until you get the detail you desire. (Side note: not sure what the plant/tree is that you are looking at...download the phone app "plant snap"...pretty cool.)

This does what I wanted it to do. Works well and fits in the pocket just fine.
Good little product. I feel it was sold as advertised. Only thing i feel negative is that it’s hard to hold. I’ve dropped it once. Not far, maybe 6” to the table and it held up. Didn’t break. But that’s why it needs is a better grip. I get it, it is a “get what you pay for” and it’s worth it. But it needs a better way to hold it.
