Got this as a christmas present for my 5 year old twin nieces. At first they were pretty confused by it, and it took a while to explain the concept. The hardest part was teaching them to not talk when the light is on so you can hear the other person talking. It took them a day to really get the hang of it, but when they did, they were delighted and baffled by what they could only assume is a wizarding device. I swear they spent an hour in separate rooms just saying "hello" back and forth and laughing their heads off! Now they use it for hide and seek and on long car rides they give the other walkie talkie to a friend and use it to communicate while on the road from different cars. These things seriously do have a 2 Mile range! I would recommend this for any kids 5+.
This was not as easy for the girls to understand and use as I was hoping. Definitely for kids in the upper elementary ages. I ended up finding even easier ones. The sound quality was pretty good though if you aren't interested in ease of use.
I bought these for my five year old daughter. She wanted pink walkie-talkies that were based on Shopkins. The reviews for those were poor. So I bought her these because the reviews were good and I bought her Shopkins stickers to put on them. When I first looked at them I thought they were awfully small. But once we turned them on I was amazed at the clarity and the range. I think the product is durable and the manufacturers claims are legitimate. I believe my daughter will love them. I am happy about this purchase.
OMG told toys toys for Christmas and my grand kids played with these for days, it's Feb and they are still running around hiding and playing with them, when our side I gave extra to mom and she can call on them to check on them this is a great idea and for the price wow...
I bought both the pink and blue ones for my 5 and 6 year old son and daughter for Christmas this year. They are very light and easy to use. The sound is excellent. We have been using them all over the house now for a few days. Looking forward to the summer, when we can go around the neighborhood and talk to each other. I recommend them.

Bought these as a Christmas present for my girl. Put batteries in them and they worked perfectly right away. Clear sound, easy to use. I was surprised that there was no static or lost spots. This set paired perfectly with the set I bought for my boy. Very happy with this purchase.
These were a Christmas gift for my 3 year old. They are easy for her to use and seem to be holding up well after 6 months of use. The speakers are clear and easy to understand. She has a lot of fun with these!
The Kidzlane Walkie Talkies work great. Really good range. It's nice that they only have a few channels that are selected on the side rather than a buttons as the kiddos don't tend tot change off frequency that way when playing. I like that they don't take a 9V battery which we never seem to have on hand. The size is perfect for little hands. About the size of a pack of cards but not as wide. Seem like they are built to last.
We purchased these as toys for our daughters. The wife decided to take them on a trip to Texas. One of our daughters rode with a grandmother in a separate vehicle. At any given time with 1-2 miles between the two vehicles, the radios operated perfectly. Great product for the price.
