1byone Belt-Drive 3-Speed Stereo Turntable with Built in Speakers, Natural Wood

This is my third record player. The other 2 stopped turning on but thank god because this is an amazing product! There’s an auto shutoff for the spinning and the audio. The sound is great and I love the wood look

I was recently gifted a signed vinyl from my friend from one of my fav bands. But there was a problem, I had no record player. I started to browse amazon to see if I can find any good record players at a cheap price that’s not horrible reviewed. For a moment, I found that to be impossible as anything within the 60 and below price range was rated subpar. Until I found this one of course. After Seeing the very positive reviews and price point I took a shot with the 1byone.

Upon arrival I was impressed with the design. It’s vintage but also modern. The dust cover is a huge plus. The unit is very light as it is basically entirely made of plastic. It has outputs for extra speakers if the built ins aren’t enough for you, and can convert vinyls into mp3 format via a USB port accessible at the front.

Now out of pure honesty the turn table itself does feel quite cheap and fragile. Please be careful with it. I do not see this as a demotion from 5 stars because you should be careful with any record player to be honest. The speed options, needle leveler, and safety locks all work perfectly.

As for sound, the built ins are quite great actually! They’re on par with a google home speaker. It’s not the bassiest but it’s also not the tinniest/weakest. I feel like the makers did a great job at leveling the sound quality. I needed something with built ins as I do not have the current space for a speaker set up. I would not recommend having the volume very high with the built ins as (like most value speakers) the audio loses some quality the higher it gets. If you’re looking for that kind of play, you mat want to look at more expensive record players that come with speakers.

Overall, this thing plays. No issues. And that’s really what mattered at the end for me. A great starter to my vinyl collecting future.

This is my first purchase of a portable turntable. It’s great to play our old records we found in the attic. Love how it can convert to files if needed. The sound quality is good enough to play records. Maybe because records are old and hard to judge. I just love the look of this machine. Look like a good piece even for decor on my cabinet. Just hope it lasts. Great as a Christmas gift.

I've got this for educational purposes, so my son understands how the sound works. We've got several discs in the thrift store and now it so fun to see how this all works together!
The device itself is very simple and has all the needed functionality. I would say it is a great device for experiments or a starters. Quality is good, sound is OK.. As for me this was all I needed.

Shipping was fast, item is as described. I like the thumb drive function as it allows me to transfer music to my computer where I can clear up some of the scratches from the albums. This is being used as a substitute for an antique turntable in a 1962 Grundig console. The audio is as expected coming from the little speakers built into the cabinet. While the sound is acceptable, I'm sure a pair of powered speakers would be an improvement. I did some test recordings to a thumb drive and played them on a PC and found the sound was great. I tried a rubber/cork slip pad under the albums and found it made the tone arm ride too high causing the player to produce more distortion and waver. Overall, IMHO I think this is a great player, well worth the money. This is not a high end player but it satisfied my needs and I think it's perfect for those who would like to dust off those old albums and enjoy them again.

This product is cost effective, appears well built and fulfills a lifetime dream of mine to own a record player. (I was born in the 90s, cut me some slack!) The only thing I would have liked included would be a bluetooth option, so that I could replace some existing technology. Records are playing perfectly. I didn't necessarily NEED to hook up a speaker, but I did anyway. Quality sound!

I have only got to been able to use this for a day it was a birthday gift. But I can tell you the sound quality is AMAZING on this thing, you still get all the pops and cracks from the record. I will say I do with that the material was a little better quality and you had more color options to choose from but that aside this is a great little record player

I’m so pleased with this product! Great bang for the buck!! It was better than I expected.

My decades old portable record player stopped working. I found this one and it seemed to meet my main requirements. It is inexpensive, mid-size/small, nice looking (fits my contemporary decor but looks retro) and uses electricity - plug in not batteries. I don't know anything about how to download music or all that techno-stuff. Someone I know might show me someday - if/when we have time - not important. I like playing my older record (LP) collection (from the 60s on) and the few 45s and 78s I own. I just have to remember to correctly set the speed before the needle gets in place -- the speed is the key to playing a variety of records and boy those 45s sound funny on a different speed LOL.

Very disappointed. Two minutes of playtime before the amplifier packed it in. Returning for a refund.

3/5/2019: A rep from the company saw my negative review and reached out to me. I accepted their offer of a replacement unit since I was still interested in the USB recording aspect of the player.

I have had the replacement for a couple of days now. The sound is good, although not as complex as that of the vintage turntable I ended up buying in lieu of my original purchase. I haven't had an opportunity to use the USB recorder yet.

On the balance, unless you're an audiophile who rattles on about signal to noise ratio and other such jargon, you'll probably be perfectly happy with this player.
