Country Living

Country Living

I like this magazine - it shows a variety of styles and antiques - although its Country - it has a wide range of decor within that style.
Arrives in good shape, quality nice, ontime. Will probably buy again-

In this magazine you get great home decorating & remodeling tips, choices where you can purchase items, collecting tips (purchasing, where to find, plus your collectables value), great articles on so many things, with guest stars, various subjects and more. This is a great magazine to get comfortable and just get lost in all the different things from cover to cover. Just Love It!!!

My favorite magazine!!! With Southern Living a close second. Country Living has beautiful pictures, ideas I can copy without going broke, inspirational home makeovers, and a GREAT price!! I got a year (10 issues) for $5!!!

I have subscribed to Country Living Magazine since I was in my early 30's & I am now 67 yrs old! Although I don't think that the quality & content of the magazine is as good as it used to be, I still enjoy reading it from cover to cover! However, when I received my renewal notice at an annual rate of $25.00, I considered letting it go. Then, I decided to check the web to see if I could find a better rate & that's when I discovered that Amazon offered the same annual renewal for less than half the rate that I was offered through Hearst Publishing! Great deal!

I love Country Living magazine. I had received it regularly many years ago and got away from it (for some reason). I picked up one in the grocery store aisle and realized how much I enjoyed the magazine. So I went online to my favorite place: Amazon Prime to see if I could receive the magazaine at a great deal ... and...they didn't disappoint me. I have been receiving it again for about 3 years and have now renewed through my Amazon so that they can "manage" all my magazine subscriptions (I buy quite a few for gifts also). Thank you Country Living and thank you Amazon Prime!

This is a wonderful magazine if you are a fan of - as the magazine title says - Country Living. There is bit of a modern edge to it all too, which I think makes it even more accessible.

They refer to the Feb 2012 issue as "the White Issue" with decorating ideas that involve white/neutrals - lots of examples of antiques and replicas throughout the magazine.

    just a a quick sample of what's inside -

    * Collecting this month focuses on match safes with photos of gorgeous antique versions.
    * the center layout featuring a beautiful home done in pared back white and warm wood.
    * more on whites in formal and eclectic settings.
    * an article on the Coombs maple farm in Vermont with recipes for Sour Cream Pancakes with Maple-Pecan Butter and Tomato-Cheddar Strata.

I like that this is one magazine I subscribe to that I see prices quoted for little splurges that are affordable like simple/functional yet gorgeous custom stamped leather luggage tags for $13.95. This is already the second place in the issue in just the first few pages that highlights women artisans and made in the USA hand crafted goods. This magazine tries to keep things accessible to its readers, quoting sources we can use not just designer industry insiders.

Yes, there are a ton of ads (like pretty much any other magazine) but if the ads help keep my subscription cost to a measly $5 per year then the ads are fine with me!

Pleased with this purchase and definitely recommended.

I was initially given a subscription to this magazine as a gift a couple of years ago and when it expired, I had not planned on renewing it. But, toward the end of my subscription, it seemed as if each new issue was more interesting than ever before. When I saw my husband reading it one weekend while taking a break from doing some repairs on the house, I knew it was a keeper! Amazon always has a great price - usually lower than buying it directly from the company - and keeping track of your order online makes it super easy to resubscribe and auto-renewal saves both money and time as well as the fact that you never miss an issue. Even if you only get a few useful ideas from each one, it's well worth the price and also a nice little magazine to pass on to family and friends when you're finished with it!

Photos could be more plentiful. Most people buy magazines for the photos. Also, too many dogs. Contrary to popular belief, not everyone likes the things. Cats either for that matter.

In the last year I have NOT enjoyed CL magazine as much as I have in the past several years. The size is much smaller, too many advertisements & NOT enough of the old stories that I always loved :(

Everything country is here! Helpful tips, recipes, colorful pictures and ideas for decorating - I love it all !! I can't wait for the next month's issue :-)
