6/3/17 - My original review was inaccurate, I've since verified that all 4 outputs work great. When I experienced my initial display problem, about an hour later I had an SDI to HDMI Converter intermittently start to fail on me. At the time I had no evidence to show that both problems were related to the Converter. My apologies to the seller and my thanks for his support.
6/1/17 - Quick response from the seller to support any issues. Currently working with the seller to verify that the splitter is in fact the cause of my problem or not. I will update this review once this is confirmed.
5/30/17 - Out of the box the #3 Output distorted the color of the image to drastic to fix with the TV color adjustments. Switching the cable to the #4 Output resolved the issue. I'll be replacing this item for another to give it another chance.
Works great. I'm using it as an SDI amplifier/reclocker at the receiving end of a 300' run of RG59 cable.
At 1080i, I just couldn't quite get a stable signal with the 300 foot run that I needed in order to reach a classroom. But while fooling around with various pieces of gear in my parts bin, I discovered that if I put this splitter at the far end of the run, it cleans up the signal and I get perfect image on the TV at the far end. Without this, I didn't know how I was going to get video to the classroom, as the UTP balun I tried just failed completely.
So I give this 5 stars for saving my hind end.
Great SDI splitter. Currently being used on the program return side for a Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro, I have 2 cameras and only 3 SDI runs (2 send 1 return) this is splitting the return so I can have CCU control over both cameras. Works perfectly on the end of a 200' run. Additionally, really appreciate the on/off swich on the box.
We recently went to SDI for our remote monitors as we need to run them at up to 50 feet distant, and HDMI cables that can manage that are expensive and unwieldy. This lets me take the feed from an AJA converter and split it to our stand-up monitors with no problem at all, other than the front panel switch being a bit too easy to accidentally turn off.
Set it and forget it, just the way I like it.
I bought this item for my Blackmagic 2.5k Camera. The item is a small tiny metal box. I use J-Tech SDI Splitter for two SDI outputs. I connected two SDI outputs to SDI to HDMI converters. The HDMI outputs are going to two monitors. The image quality is very good.

Works great. Ran about 150 foot of RG6 cable from the sanctuary of our church to our fellowship hall to this distribution box. The signal then goes to four different rooms with flat screen monitors so folks working in the nursery, kitchen etc... can watch the service.
Great Splitter! Works just as its supposed to with no problems at all. Made with real quality as well. For the money you really can't beat going with this option. Would highly recommend to anyone needing good quality HD sdi video feeds over long distances. You won't be disappointed!

I use this to split SDI from a Camcorder for viewing in several classrooms in our church.
I purchased 3 of these for a 3 camera video production with replay. They did the job perfectly at splitting the signal for my cameras that were roughly 250 feet away. The only bummer is that they require a power supply, as more expensive ones can be unpowered. But, for the price, they served my needs extremely well.
