K&F Concept 62'' DSLR Tripod, Lightweight and Compact Aluminum Camera Tripod with 360 Panorama Ball Head Quick Release Plate for Travel and Work (TM2324 Black)

Returned. Ball head is made of plastic. Not safe for heavy camera. After some investigation, I discovered the head used to be Aluminium but has been changed to plastic. You can’t trust the reviews online because the item has been cheapened.

Update. I received a new copy of the tripod. It has metal components again. I am satisfied with the quality of this product.

At this price point I was unsure of the quality of the tripod but I can say that the K&H concept is an amazing tripod for photography.
Here are my pros and cons for this piece of equipment:

Pros:
- Snap locking legs are the way to go; don't waste your time with twist-to-lock legs. I have been able to set up and take a full panorama picture with my K&F Concept before some friends with twist locking leg tripods have been able to set up and pull off a single shot. It's easy and fast to make any minor adjustments and never slips once tightened.

- Rock solid even in winds. Although weight may seem like an initial con, the fact is that this tripod is light enough to carry with you yet heavy enough to sustain moderate to somewhat heavy winds for long exposures. If in extreme heavy winds the tripod includes a mounting hook for sandbags or any weight (including hanging your camera bag).

- Fits perfectly with my (also purchased) Peak Design Everyday Messenger Bag. https://www.peakdesign.com/everyday-messenger The padded leg of the tripod acts as extra protection for my gear when I slide the tripod into my camera bag. This extra detail has led me to bring this tripod with me more than any other tripod.
- The amazing ball head. With the built-in level the K&F Concept ball head is worth the price of admission. It is light yet extremely durable and can handle some pretty intense weight (Nikon d500 with battery pack and 18-35mm in portrait mode)

Cons:
- Unless mounted with the leveling head facing away from the lens the ball head has some trouble reaching full portrait orientation without changing the heights of the legs. However, the snap locking legs make those adjustments easy to make.

Customer Service:
Immediate and thorough.

Conclusion:
At this price point the K&F Concept is the tripod to go for. It’s value is amazing and the support team is fast and reliable. I can’t recommend this enough for newcomers or professionals looking to add a versatile yet affordable piece of kit to their collection. Well done K&H!

This review is for the TM-2324 Aluminum tripod with ball head

I bought this for a friend's birthday gift and I actually opened it just to see whether it lives up to my expectations so I am sure it is something he will like. I did a quick video so you can check out the various features when compared to my $299 Oben carbon fiber tripod that I bought about 8~9 years ago.

Pros:
Good ball head, smooth rotating action
Folds up nicely, light weight, quick locking levers
3 different angles for legs, lots of adjustabilities
can flip the center rod upside down for filming really low
comes with carrying bag with shoulder strap, and even has reflective trim; a nice added touch
it is details like putting a wrist strap onto the tripod to prevent tip-over that has won me over

Cons:
no monopod conversion
4 sections instead of 5, so folds up an inch or two longer

Conclusion:
not really fair for me to compare a $80 aluminum tripod to a $299 carbon fiber tripod but surprisingly, it has a lot of great features for the price
the thoughtful details and the good construction quality makes this a great deal for any amateur photographers. heck it can even be a good backup tripod for a pro photographer

This tripod is absolutely terrific in every way! I had purchased another tripod from Amazon prior to this one for about $40, but it was made out of plastic and cheap aluminum and was just awful. I should have sent it back but I thought I could still use it. Well it got knocked over quite easily with my Nikon D5500 on it and it broke at the top plate where the camera screws in. Thank goodness my camera and lens weren't damaged. So I researched for another tripod that didn't cost an arm and a leg, and found this one recommended by several photography bloggers. At only $79.99 this is quite a steal. It is sturdy and well made, and beautiful as well. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I am not an avid photographer, but I needed a reliable tripod so that I could use it for my projector. I am very happy that I choose this one because of how well it’s made. It has a very sturdy metal frame that can be set in different configurations. My projector weighs about 6 pounds, and this tripod was able to hold it effortlessly. The tripod is also very compact when folded and includes a traveling case which is a nice bonus. When using this tripod with my camera I found that the ball head was very easy to adjust and can be locked into position without worrying about my camera being moved. Another feature that I like about this tripod is that it has a bubble level included in the ball head. This helped me with both my projector and camera to ensure that it is in the correct position. Overall, I am verry happy with this item. I’ve purchased cheap tripods in the past that broke within a week, so it was worth it for me to spend a little bit more to get a better quality one. If you have an expensive camera that you want to keep safe, then I would suggest this tripod.

I own a huge Manfrotto carbon fiber tripod and am looking for something that's more portable and came across this beautiful thing. I was sold because of the good reviews, the subtle golden details, built in release plate, and ,last but not least, the price. Talking about price, this is three hundreds dollar cheaper than my carbon fiber tripod. Of course, I didn't expect this thing to work as good as the high-end tripod but this thing totally exceed my expectation. I end up using this tripod for everything I does these days, because it is FAST! The quick release plate makes it really easy to mount the my Sony A7II. The metal locking lever is simply a snap away from locking your tripod in place. Stability wise, it handles all my shooting very nicely. It stands well from uneven concrete to dirt-infused hiking trail. As you see in my picture, this thing folds up nicely and basically fit into any adult man size backpack. I totally love this tripod and would definitely buy again to gift my friend.

I got this for my wife, not only for her photography, but as a solution for her lighting. She takes pictures of her products to sell in her shop, and her light was large and heavy, and her old tripod wasn't capable of handling it. But this... This is in a whole other league.

The carrying bag comes with it, and is quite convenient. The tripod easily folds to fit, there's no struggling to get it zipped or anything. It appears very durable also, with both handles and a shoulder strap included.

The tripod itself is light weight, but very very strong. The legs (with 3x telescope) are much longer than we'll ever need, and that's a definite definite plus. They ratchet into place, also, so her heavy camera and light aren't going anywhere. I absolutely love that. No cranking down nuts or anything to settle the legs. On top, you've got the normal turn handles to lock your camera or lights in place, and they're both easy to turn and quite stable. Overall, I love it, she loves it, and I'm considering getting another for a friend of mine for Christmas!

I have been searching for several years for a good travel tripod that didn't break the bank. I just recently came across the K & F Concept 62" DSLR tripod and purchased it based on the description and reviews. Last week, I used it for the first time to photograph a North Carolina waterfall and was impressed with how it performed. It seemed to be very stable with the legs extended fully, but for even more stability, I didn't extend the bottom section of the legs and extended the center column to maximum height. The camera height wasn't as tall, but it worked for me and I am 6'2".
I don't think you can find a better travel tripod for the money.

I was looking to upgrade my tripod for quite some time now and planned to order this one and use. I must admit I am happy with my decision. Below are the details:

1. The snap locking mechanism in this tripod is really useful and you can adjust the height comfortably based on the available surface. Also, there are 3 different levels to lock the angle of the legs of this tripod (See attached photo). Just that these angle snappers are of okay quality but should work as long as used with care.

2. Build quality is good and this one sturdy. Can be used in winds and has a hook below the central pipe to add some weight to keep the tripod steady.

3. Height - The height of this tripod is really good, specially when compared with my old tripod which was a 3.5 ft portable one. This one is tall and can be adjusted at different levels yet is not very heavy to carry around.

4. The panoramic ball head is very useful if you like to click timelapses or panorama shots.

5. This tripod comes with a good quality bag and a separate cover for the head mount to avoid any scratches on the tripod legs when folded. There is also a tool to tighten the screws if any become loose.

6. The color scheme is subtle and it’s a good-looking, portable product.

Overall I’d say the build quality is not like that of the carbon fibre tripods but really good given the price it comes at and the accessories it comes with. I’ve used it for about a month now and will update the review if I find something new over time.

This tripod works incredibly well when taking shots of changing subjects, like the ocean or night sky. It is very easy to move around and adjust the height or angle to get the prefect shot. It's lightweight and packs very small, perfect for strapping to a bag. The quick attach works well and the ball joint makes getting vertical shots a breeze. The perfect entry tripod.
