Fun game, family friendly (so long as you don't get the adult version).
There are a good number of rules to learn which can be a little confusing when first starting out, so you'll want someone smart to figure it out first! It took a few rounds of play to really understand it, and even then we were looking a few rules up online for special cards which weren't clear. The instructions do a fair job of explaining, I was impressed with them, but there are just a lot of cards which change things up in unique ways ... that's a very good thing to keep things fresh and fun and every game different, so long as you can figure out what they're doing.
I bought the Battle Pack Expansion with this, and recommend it. Don't mix it in until you've played a few rounds just with the base pack, though, for the sake of learning the rules.
This game is lots of fun. Based on Crazy Eights with some twists and turns that will keep you jumping! I’m 54 and played it at a quilting retreat with some diehard quilting ladies in their 60’s. They gave up several hours of sewing time to play this game. Suitable for kids as is and if it gets confusing for them, simply remove the chaos cards. Highly recommend two sets so up to 10 can play instead of five. The more people that play the more fun it is. Highly recommend.
Very fun game. Both my 10 and 11 year old loved it...especially the card humor.
Kind of like crazy 8, but silly for kids. My 7 year old enjoys playing
So fun! And super easy directions!
