We purchased these as an add on for a car seat that didn't have strap covers. My 2-year old loves the look of them and since they aren't overly puffy or huge, I know that he is safe from sliding through the straps if we have an accident. These are like a layer of fleece so I know he isn't going to get too hot either (he gets heat rash easily).
These are perfect for a car seat I bought that didn't have the pads for grandma's car. They have great coverage for the neck. Definitely recommend them.
