Lately it’s been extremely cold outside; so we’ve been trying to do fun things with our pup inside the house. Ben, is a fun-loving, energetic, 76-pound Doberman, who thinks he’s still a puppy. All he wants to do is play, play, play! We play hide and seek, teach him new tricks, play frisbee and tracking games; and it makes Ben so happy! BUT ... sometimes we need a break!!! That’s when I get out his BarkBone! It’s curved in a way that makes it easier for Ben to hold and he loves the bacon taste! I love it for what it does for his teeth ... massaging his gums and scraping tartar as he chews. Recently we took Ben to the vet for his regular checkup, and she asked how we keep his teeth so clean. Well, we feed him a balanced raw diet, and give him raw (Non-weight-bearing) bones filled with marrow to help scrape off tartar. But we don’t want the mess or smell of real bones in our house. That’s where BarkBones come to the rescue! When we’re ready to relax, we give Ben his BarkBone to chomp on ... and he relaxes too!
* I believe that chewing helps a dog to release endorphins in his brain, which make him feel content and relaxed ... like a natural high. And frequently, after chomping for a while, Ben falls asleep. Which means a nice break for us:)
Nice size for a German Shepherd. This bone is also help up to some serious chewing. My shepherd is a chewer and will demolish most bones within hours. Even bones made for heavy chewers are gone within a day or two. This one has held up for a couple weeks and she chews on it daily so it was money well spent.
These nylon dog bones are awesome for the tough chewers out there. I love the price point of these compared to the big name nylon dog bone brand. the quality is identical if not slightly better. also, I feel like the scent sticks around longer. my pup can't be left unattended with any toys due to him shredding thru them. he has had several barkbones, but had never chewed through one. definitely recommend!
Have a new dog who is a very aggressive chewer, and in his first couple of weeks has been plowing through rope toys and other supposedly "tough" dog toys at an alarming rate. He absolutely loves this bone and is happy to work on it for good stretches of time, several times a day. I'm happy that so far, he's barely scratched the surface and this has every appearance of a toy that's going to last a good long time. I'll definitely be purchasing again when he works through this one... but that looks like it is going to be a while!
My golden retriever loves his barkbone soo much! He usually chews something up within 10 minutes and this bone has lasted for weeks so far. (I have another one that he has been chewing on for months) it keeps him busy and we love it!

This bone is AWESOME! My dogs (both own and foster dog) cannot get enough of it. They also don't have a strong smell, which is a bonus. We bought both the XL and normal size, one for each. They also have stayed together very well over the past few days. Highly recommend, even for the tough chewers. My 65 lb rottie mix adores these!
It's the second day of owning this toy and my dog hasn't destroyed it. I don't want to say "yet" because I hope that it lasts a long time. All other bones I had given my dog with the same claim had been destroyed within minutes of handing them to my dog. But this one seems to be holding up really well. He hasn't even broke off any pieces off it either.
We were having problems with the December shipment of our Bullymake Box and weren't sure that we were gonna have it in time for Christmas. Seeing as this was our first Christmas with our dog, we got him at the shelter this summer, we wanted to spoil him. This bone came suggested with a couple other items and he loves it. He is a 22 lb American Eskimo and is a hard chewer who went through many toys when we first got him. He has been chewing on this toy every day many times a day and carries it around with him. He absolutely loves it and it is great for his heavy chewing. He chews on this more than anything right now.
Not all nylon chews are created equal! THIS bone was a huge hit with our 10 month old dane. Sometimes I have to add a little peanut butter to get her chewing on a bone, but she showed interest in this immediately.
I have a Newfoundland and a lab/whippet mix and it’s hard finding a bone that not only lasts but that they like and actually use. I bought this for them for Christmas and they love them!
