Purchased this product as a birthday gift for a nine-year-old and he is already obsessed. He and his brother had never played Spoons before and I thought it would be a fun new card game to introduce them to! The spoons and traveling case are great and I'm very happy with this purchase!
My wife and I purchased Spoons as a family gift for Christmas. It turned out being a great gift. It is only January second and we have already played this game together so many times that I have lost count. Our children's ages are 10, 11 and 15 and they all love it.
My kids learned how to play this game around thanksgiving. When i saw this game on amaz5i was so excited because they could stop dirting up my spoons. The kids live the bright color of the spoon and i love the durability of them. I thought for sure they would end up breaking them and about three months later we haven't had any problems :)
Yes you could use your own spoons, but this was a great addtion to a gift basket out class was donating to the school. The theme was family game night. I like that everything is self contained in a plastic container, this could be taken along on trips with the family, It is small and easy to play.
Fun game with safe spoons. You don't need the bigger game with bigger spoons. Comes with spoons and deck of cards. The directions are a bit confusing.

I brought a bunch of games to a friend's house during Hurricane Sandy. We had 5 adults and 6 kids under the age of 8. Everyone played, everyone laughed, and kids picked up quick without the adults losing patience. Great game to have on hand... of course you can also play with a deck of cards and spoons from your kitchen, but this ups the ambience and the larger spoons are much easier to grab.

THIS GAME WAS SO FUN. EVERYONE IN MY FAMILY PLAYED FROM AGES 10 - 70 YEARS OLD!!! THIS GAME WAS CERTAINLY A HIT, AT TIMES WE HAD UP TO 10 PEOPLE PLAYING AT ONE TIME. I PURCHASED TWO GAMES WITH SMALL SPOONS SO THAT MORE PEOPLE COULD PLAY AND WE USED BOTH DECKS OF CARDS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ITEM FOR A GREAT FAMILY NIGHT.
This is a perfect family game in a perfect travel package. We bring this anywhere we might have to sit and wait a while.

Just like the original spoons game...but easier! Great product for the price! Love that it all fits in the container. The plastic spoons are perfect to use with kids and adults! And slightly less risk of being injured as the competitive spirit increases!! Ha!
