The ball end of this product is perfect for mounting the receiver plate of the Mophie Charge Force Desk Mount. I'm not sure if the manufacturer intended for this compatibility or if I just got lucky in buying a product that is flexible with other product lines, but I'm ordering 4 more for my family's vehicles. I love the fact that I don't have to physically plug and unplug my phone when I'm in vehicle mode (and yes it works on boats equipped with cigarette lighters too) and there's room to charge another USB device (take your pick). This is a great product and I'm very pleased with its performance thus far.
I'm back to driving a semi again and keeping things in reach is sometimes a real challenge. Well, not with the phone any longer thanks to this gadget.
I like the idea that it is made of what feels like steel and it's hefty. Being able to bend the arm in a position to match my needs is important since it is near other controls and the shifter.
Plugging it in for the first time was a struggle until I sprayed the end with WD-40.
Until I received this, I thought the magnet may not be strong enough to hold the phone in such extreme conditions as being attached to the dash of a semi, and driving in Michigan where the roads are shall we say less than smooth. That is not the case at all. The magnet on this is strong enough to hold in some of the roughest conditions.
As for the charger; I was pleasantly surprised to find that it does a rapid charge on my Galaxy S7. I have a charging cable (NetDot Gen 2 magnet) attached to the arm with a velcro tie which makes it very easy to just get the end near the charging port and it grabs hold and starts charging.
As an added benefit, it displays your battery voltage, charging current and charging voltage.
I bought this item right before going on a trip, with hopes it would be highly convenient switching between my vehicle to the bag, then at my destination into the rental car. It was amazing how convenient this was. It holds my phone nice and strong, in fact so strong the adjustable head sometimes moves when I go to pull it off. That's a strong magnet! The cigarette lighter plug is also very snug. It's actually a bit tough to remove it's so tight, but not unbearable. All that's a good thing though, as that what will ensure it's not going to fall out. I happen to have a Galaxy S8 and I put a different metal plate on the bottom portion of my phone. The plate this comes with is large, I was concerned it would conflict with wireless charging. It might not have, but Since I opted for a smaller one I had... I cannot verify that. With the smaller, roughly 3/4 in diameter, plate I used, I have no interference with my wireless chargers at home. So win/win. I also paired this with the type of cord that has a magnetic tip to be able to easily release and go. I'm really happy with everything over all, and I really like this product. It's top notch!
I received this item quickly when ordered and loved the way it held my phone in place easily with the magnet. After using for a while, I had to have maintenance performed on my car, I moved the adapter to my loaner car and after moving back a rubber grommet had come off. Initially, I was not aware of how to contact the seller, but did provide a review to which the seller reached out to me work with me to ensure that I was happy with their product. In doing so, they have sent me a replacement and continued to follow up with me through out the process to completion. The customer service and how they stand behind there product is AMAZING and therefore highly recommend them!
It is durable. But doesn’t hold my iPhone very well. Going over bumps it will fall off. But new cars don’t have car players anymore, which is annoying because the cd phone holder are more sturdy. For now this is what I have to work with.

I would like to start by saying that there goose neck on the charger is very stiff and durable. That being said I installed it, my phone was a little off, so I tried adjusting it. Unfortunately, the magnetic morning came off. I will be returning it, as I've only had it for less than an hour.
Update: After my review, the seller reached out to try and fix the problem. They sent a replacement, which arrived very quickly. So, far everything is working great. One piece of advice is to make sure that you do all adjustments before tightening the nut on the ball joint. Otherwise the tiny screw won't hold. So far everything is good. The phone releases very well from the magnet, it doesn't take too much force like a lot of the other mounts. Great customer service, very pleased with their quick response. I will definitely do business with them again if the need arises.
This fits great in my truck. Since the lighter socket is lower the length of the product is great. It holds my iphone 6 without problem and it doesn't lose the shape. Even when its bumpy ride it still holds the phone. I had an issue with sticker coming off and left glue. I couldn't get the glue off so my phone became sticky. I wrote to them since it has 1 year warranty and they replaced it for me. This is great, however it did take them little over a month to do that.
Not much of a gadget freak, but this one I love. I travel for work a lot, and wherever I land, it always involves renting a car. This is the one universal cell phone mount that I've found that actually works. I like the spurred rubber grommet attached to the bottom of the plug that keeps the thing from flopping over. I love the stiff neck that stays put wherever you adjust it to. I love the strong magnet that won't allow the phone to dislodge no matter how bumpy the road is. It comes with two adhesive backed plates that you attach to the back of your phone for the magnet to work. Some people might not like sticking the steel pad to the back of the phone because of the way it looks, but I for one, never look at the back of my phone, so I couldn't care less. They're painted black and appear to be 16 gauge steel. Be sure to clean the back of your phone with a cotton ball moistened with rubbing alcohol. Obviously materials like skin oils and hand lotions will weaken the bonding of the adhesive backing on the plate.
This a great great cell phone mount for the car. I have a detachable leather wallet case that is magnetic already so I just simply snap my phone out of the wallet portion of my case and the leather case my phone sits in is magnetic so it sticks right to the cell phone mount no problems. Setup is simple and quick. The magnet allows you too pop the phone on the holder or pick it up quickly with minimal issues. The adjustable arm is very stiff and doesn't move easy which is good otherwise the weight of the phone would be too much for it. Great car mount!
Really glad to finally have a place for my phone but... it keeps falling over. Love it but keep pulling it up. I'm in a mini and the lighter is low so the coil from lighter to phone has to go up. It's only as good as its strength to defy gravity! But I still like it. I'd give it 3 1/2 stars but can't figure out how!
