Product arrived quickly and well packed. It brews a full bodied, rich cup of coffee. Something to keep in mind; with a pour over a lot of heat is lost during the pour-over process. If you’re used to hot coffee right out of the gate there may be some disappointment, but the rich brew is well worth a few seconds in the microwave. I will enjoy using this accoutrement. The glass carafe is a bit small, but for a single person it’s perfect! The handle is rather delicate so it must be handled with care to avoid possible breakage. All in all...I’m quite pleased.
The beaker is really nice. I use it as a measuring cup for other things as well. The filter is great and gets a lot of use at my house. My only complaint is that by the time I pour my coffee into it and then into my cup, it’s not as hot as I’d like it to be, but that’s just me.

March 16, 2017 I purchased the Secura 1500ML French Press Coffee Maker, 50-Ounce, Stainless Steel 18/10 SFP-50DSC, I was told about the french press by an Australian friend, as we were in conversation about how we have so many electric outages and I was wishing for a way to have coffee, during such times. I am in the USA state of Florida. I had never heard of a french press coffee maker before. I searched for the largest size I could find and I read so many reviews, choosing this particular one based on reviews because I had knowledge of the french press.
My husband and I love this! It is easy to clean, easy to use, and makes the best tasting coffee. It is the best coffee maker I have ever had and I have had many. I love the fact that I wont be concerned over coffee makers busting a seal and running coffee all over the counters, down to the floor, with the big messes they make. I was so sick of paying $100 and up, to get the best coffee maker that I could afford and still have such issues as this. We were having to buy a $100 coffee maker every single year.
This French Press Coffee Maker is the only coffee make I will ever use. I did not pull it out of its box until September of 2017 and due to Hurricane Irma. We ended up having to evacuate and fled to South Carolina and I forgot to grab the French Press. We got back home and I used it, because I had it out, and we have used it ever since. I am looking for a larger size but this was the largest I could find at time of purchase and now I dont even see this 50oz size with this particular press. Smaller will not do, if anything, I need larger.

I love this French Press. My last automatic maker had gone to the graveyard. After trying another updated version of that one, I had to return it as it made horrible coffee. I was encouraged to try french press in stainless steel as the glass ones seem to occasionally break. I have to say that I wish I had investigated the magic of French Press before and especially this double-walled stainless steel large version. I may try the even larger one but I was able to establish my perfect formula for this size. Truth be told I already ordered another as a gift and expecting to order yet another for the same reason, and as well, ordered a second for my home for guests to use so everyone has just the right amount of just right tasting coffee!!! Really great french press. Mine has good welds. It does a fantastic job of maintaining tempurature during the brew process. My only small critique is that the plunger is a bit loose and wobbly. You will likely want to use both filter screens when brewing to cut down on the grit, but I was expecting this. All in all great product and I would very much recommend to anyone. You can bet on getting 700 ml of brewed coffee out when done.

I should give this 5 stars. Made in Wis-something, USA, which I find appealing and novel. The form-factor is beautiful, the curves appealing and is heavy-duty, suggesting a cottage-industry sort of stout. There is the handle. There is the spout. The one star I ding reluctantly is for the manufacturing imperfections. It looks like the guy polishing the thing went on break about 3/4 of the way through. Normally, this would not bother me a bit, but given the otherwise alluring shapeliness of the object, the inconsistency tickles the latent OCD in me. Like the sole smudge on a showcar, I feel I must set it straight. So, for the past few Saturdays while drinking the otherwise french-pressed coffee, I polish it. Better than a few weeks ago, but these deeper scratches might take a while. I do not ding for lack of temperature retention. The coffee goes cold at only about half the rate of a ceramic mug. The ad says nothing about temperature retention, so this is just a high hope of mine. I just assumed such an object would also be vacuum sealed in a layer. Overall, a great buy. Wis-something-or-other, I swear. Those guys can really get it done.
Way better than glass, better insulated, nice looking and durable! We have been making our coffee via French press for years and this is so far our favorite French press, we take it traveling as well!
