old review: Not precise, sloppy manufacturing. You get what you pay for, neither of the two tweezers in this set have points or edges that line up. I will go back to Tweezerman even though it's so much more expensive. It's just so annoying to sit there trying to grab the same hair over and over and keep missing it.
Also, the surgical point tweezer was not sharp pointed so it just doesn't work for ingrown hairs.
These should be in every makeup drawer! I got the pair as a replacement because I dropped and bent my first pair of pointy tipped tweezers. I use them for everything from stray facial hairs to splinters and removing glue from false eyelashes. Stainless steel so they are easy to sanitize. Tweezers need to be exact and it is a real leap of faith to buy some online where you can’t verify you aren’t getting a pair where the edges don’t line up or have a gap. I use tweezers almost every day on my face so I really want them to work effectively and correctly. These are great, you get two for the price of one. I have paid more for tweezers that did nothing but frustrate me. I’ve been using these for several months and they’re perfect for getting even fine hair, pulling off a tick (yuck) or whatever. They also don’t cut through the hair you’re trying to pull out, which is so annoying. All tweezers have to do is grab something but it’s surprising how many can’t even do that. I’m glad I took I chance and ordered these. My experience has been great and I would recommend these to anyone.
Nice set that is easily able to get fine hairs. However I seem to really pinch the crap out of myself with these on occasion. Not sure if the angle is somehow different or just more accurate and I'm clumsy. The good news is that if I do manage to grab the hair and not my skin the tweezers rarely cut the hair short or let it slip out right at the last second after tugging your skin ever so slowly and painfully.. I hate that.
So yes, these are worth the cost for sure. This is especially evident when comparing them to even the mid-level tweezers you can get at the drugstore.

I originally bought just the pointy pairs of tweezers and they were really awesome...until I accidentally made them fly across the room and completely trashed the tips. Oops my bad. However I found this two pack for the price I bought the one pair! Super awesome sauce. They are just as good as the first pair and I'll be making sure to keep a good grip on them this time haha. Very impressed with these tweezers. They have the feel of quality and are now my favorite of all time. I am really pleased with these.The double pack was definitely the way to go. The angled tweezers are very sharp and work well. The pointed tweezers are very good for splinters and are the kind recommended in medical articles as the safest way to remove a tick from the skin. I'm glad I bought them and I think we'll get a lot of use out of them.
