Paid less than $100.00 for the Stereo w/camera and would do it again. Sounds nice, plays DVDs perfectly, bluetooth linked right up with my android phone, and back up camera is clear and works great. It doesn't have alot of specialty features and silly things that you honestly don't need, it simply does exactly what it says it does and does it pretty well. Would be nice to have a little better instructions for installing but didn't take me long to figure it all out. Attention: Remote has to be aligned perfectly or it will not work, makes it almost worthless, luckily I dont really need the remote.

The installation was as easy as could be. My brother helped me get it to fit just right. Love it, I wouldn't haven't picked another one.
Great radio. Don't know what people's complaints are. Scosche has a good kit for it. Easy to install on Jeep Patriot. However, you will need to cut the top part of the jeep's radio support frame inside the console so the BOSS radio can fit. Very easy to do with a small saw or file (took 1 min.) Other than that, installation is a breeze for those not intimidated with electronics (I am no pro by the way).
Nice Head unit. I thought it would provide a little more power to the speakers, but it is good. Easy to install in my 2004 F150, I would recommend a dash kit for a really clean fit. The menu system is a little clunky, especially when driving. The Bluetooth connects right away, you can connect 2 phones at once and can control the phones, iphone5c and 7+. I have made and received many calls and I get mixed reviews on clarity, I only use the head unit mic, and it is in a truck, maybe a remote mic would be more clear. I would recommend it if you are looking for upgrading to bluetooch function in your vehicle with a doubledin.
Purchased for our daughters 2007 Toyota Tacoma! So far so good! We installed, very easily, wires are labeled for easy installation, were were confused about the backup camera but after calling tech support and looking up YouTube video it was fairly simple! Bluetooth works great, hands free calling, so far upon initial use we are happy with our purchase!

This product is functioning as advertised. Installation effort does require some labor but not extensive. Blue tooth connectivity is easy to perform, clarity of audio is as good as your speakers. Purchasing the correct wiring harness for your vehicle recommended for ease of install.
I have 2010 Silverado Crew cab. Amazon says "this fots your vehicle" they were wrong. A part of the dash in the very back had to be cut out. I had AV cabels coming from back so it didn't fit. The wirering was easy. I did need an antenna adapter and the wire harness that plugged into my truck and don't forget a trim kit for the radio. I had a 1" gap between radio and climate control. I didn't mind to modify my dash with an occilating tool but some folks might. Sound and other functions are awesome!
This review will be more of an instructional about wiring up the backup camera since Boss deem it not worth including in the instructions. The backup camera comes with a long video connector with 2 short red wires at each end and a short power connector with a red and black wire that connects to the camera. Take a look at the wiring on the back of the radio. There is a violet with white stripe wire labeled for backup cam. You connect this to the short red that comes off the video connector on the long video cord. The other end also has a short red that you connect to the red power cord and connect both to your backup tail light + wire. When you put your vehicle into reverse, the backup light comes on, and also powers the backup camera and send a signal to the radio to switch to backup cam. You could also rig the red power wires to a push button switch on the dash, jerry rigged through a 12v jack (you would have to buy your own parts for this option) which enables you to turn on the backup cam without going into reverse.
I really like this radio for $100 or so.

I love having the backup camera display in the dash.
I wish I could set the home screen as the default display when using Aux In or BT. This is the only clock in my truck and I would like to see the clock at a glance without having to touch the screen or Home button. No need to stay on Aux in screen since it does nothing.
I wish it had an automatic dimmer for night driving.
I wish I could set volume levels to be the same in every mode. For example, listening to radio on 10 then switching to CD, the CD needs to be turned up to 20 for same same output level. Needs a VLA volume level adjustment option.
BT Microphone for hands free calls works great. Better than any headset I own. Callers say it's very clear even while driving in heavy downpour.
I have yet to figure out what the Standby Screen settings do. On or Off, I can't figure out what changes.
Excellent product, satisfied with my purchase, you would expect from the price that it would be of cheap quality but the unit is of good quality, the touch screen is as responsive as $599 units from bestbuy that I checked out before ultimately purchasing the BOSS double din unit sound quality is great in comparison to factory radio and user interface is similar to top brand audio head units. Had to get adapters for it to fit in my cars dash as well as wiring harnesses which I opted to pay double/triple for the same brand at Best buy so I could return in the event I got the wrong harness adapter. I'll be sure to update in the event it stops working/fails. Careful when installing any electrical device when you are connecting wires yourself, mis-wiring could cause a short circuit and turn the unit into a paper weight.
