My husband is 6'1" and 250 lbs. and the LG/XL fits perfectly. He loves the warmth and softness. There is quite a bit of "lint." I have just washed it for the second time and hope that will at least lessen if not solve the problem.
We got this for our teenage son who seems to like to wear it so much that we have started calling him 'Hef'. It's snuggly soft and exactly what we expected. It's still a bit large for him (there is a gap between kids' size large and men's small), that will shortly resolve itself. Warm but not too warm and apparently the height of comfort.
It was a lot bigger than I needed but not so big as to be a problem. It was lighter weight than I would have liked but other than that I love it.

Go a size smaller if you're second-guessing. The robe itself is of great, soft quality. The material is warm, albeit slightly thin. Color is a deep emerald/hunter green that is gorgeous. 9/10 would buy again. My bf loves it. Note that it is 3/4 length, so hits mid-calf on my 5'9" bf. Enjoy!
I had to return a different robe I bought from Amazon because it was too small. This one was the perfect size (L/XL for 5'10 210lb guy). Very plush and comfy.
