I have a collection of macrame and this one is the best quality of all my current ones. It’s soft and a really heavy weight. It feels expensive. For the smell yes it has a slight odor that goes away and this smells to me like a natural raw fiber not mold and it’s also not strong and offensive. I would recommend and I will buy more. Came on time and good packaging as well.

Love it! It is sturdy and looks great with a concrete bowl. I plan on painting it/dyeing it for a pop of color but it works perfectly as is with it's neutral color.
