There is no other traditional tie fighter in the galaxy heroes, and there doesn't need to be.
First off the toy is well detailed with two slots for tie troopers or anyother figure. There is a gun on the bottom and two cannons that are operated by a button the handle. Oh yeah and the handle is great for kids.
So the downsides. The wings can come off but it does not happen nearly as often as the Darth Vader ship. The hatch gets pulled off somedays. But everything has popped back in no problem. So durability is decent. The reason it gets 5 stars is because it has survived a year with two destructive boys; better than ANY other galaxy hero toy todate. No scuffs, or worn-out pieces. The current version of the Falcon can't say the same. Nothing stays on that thing and it saw much less play time.
So for $20 it is an excellent buy for your little emperor or rebel.
My son LOVES this toy and how easy it is for him to play with (he's 3yrs old). I love how easy it is for him to play with and the awesome handle for him to hold and press the bottoms to make the toy shoot and what not. Its strong and very well made and again easy to put together. I'll for sure get this again if he brakes it because he is 3 and something might happen to it.
5 year old grandchild loved this toy. It is easy for small hands to hold and the weight is fine for a child to simulate flying around the room while holding onto the back of the ship. Small soft darts are fired with a range of about 2-3 feet. All in all, a good choice for a 5 year old Star Wars fan. Only negative relates to the construction which could be sturdier.
My son loves this toy. It's great because it has a handle which has a button near where the thumb goes which causes the guns to flip from the back to the front in a ready position to shoot. It's a great design and the only downside is that the pieces come apart a little too easy especially if you have a young one playing rough with it. My son is 5 and has dropped it a few times so the sides have fallen off. They easily snap back on though so he just keeps on playing.
This is a fun toy. The only thing that is kind of weird is that Kylo Ren's arms come off for him to fit into the jet pack. It is not a problem, but I am just waiting for my 8 year old to lose the arms. We will see.

Bought this for a 5 year old OBSESSED with Star Wars. He loves it! My only complaint is that the firing mechanism is kind of hard to figure out. Also, the open/close feature of the pilots seat comes loose sometimes. But overall it’s pretty great!

My 5 year old loves his galactic heroes! A great addition to his collection. It doesn’t make sounds (yay) but does shoot targets.
Such a cool toy. The sides come off and that is sometimes a frustration as little hands struggle to get it back on. Otherwise, we love it. The green darts shoot pretty far!
