This white Stinger replacement bulb works significantly better than the UV black light bulb at attracting bugs. Stinger says that this bulb is for the BK100 only, but it fits and works just fine in my BK500.
I don't care what the "experts" say because this bulb works way better than the purple one! It's not a brilliant white light but it does the job. Initially I had my bug zapper near the basement door hoping to kill the zillions of bugs around my basement door light but very few were getting zapped. I was trying to figure out a way to get a white bulb into my zapper when I found this bulb.
Now I've had a lot of trouble with my Stinger Zappers. One lasted just over a year and the warranty replacement unit only lasted 2 months. If this bulb doesn't last at least a year, I WILL change this review...
