I bought this unit as a backup,packaged nicely arrived it perfect condition.
Opened her up,looked it over and decided to charge the battery while i read the instruction manual.
Actual use
I tested her out for a few hours,i like the rechargable battery,after 3 hours battery still showed full.
Unit is easy to operate,auto shutoff after timer is up.
Plenty power lvl 3-5 was more than enough therapy for my shoulders.
I like the buttons are hard to press,less accidental increases on power.
Overall its a great budget unit with good quality and power.
I pretty much never write amazon reviews but I need to for this. This machine is amazing. A complete bargain for the price. I have had it a month and it has helped my lower back pain so much. I despise taking medication often and cannot take ibuprofen due to kidney disease. That leaves me in a painful predicament. This TENS is amazing. It’s very powerful and relaxing. It makes me melt in the best way when I use it! Thank you!
The TENS UNIT by VIVE arrived quickly and for a very reasonable price. I am currently receiving V-stim treatments on my throat to try to help a swallowing disorder and had also received similar treatments at my chiropractors office for a pain in my shoulder, so I thought that there was some validity in the concept.
This unit has helped with my shoulder/neck pain, but has not cured it.
I use the unit for about 30 minutes, three times a week, set at 10 bars and it definitely reduces the discomfort for a while.
However, the pain returns after a couple of days.
I would like to get rid of it completely if possible; so far the discomfort prevails.
This device was easy to set up and operate, came with clear directions and has helped tremendously with the back pain my husband experienced. We were loaned a device from the chiropractor, but this one I purchased is much nicer and offers more options/settings. We love it.
I bought this to help with the discomfort associated with idiopathic neuropathy. I do believe that it helps by reducing the tingling and burning sensation on the lower legs. This Tens unit arrived on time and in great shape. It works well and I am still exploring the many different options offered on the Vive tens unit. I had a problem interpreting the user's manual and got a very quick, clear and helpful answer from Vive Health. I recently discovered tens therapy when a doctor/friend loaned me hers to try for some leg muscle pain. It worked very well for me and so I ordered a very similar (but with many more settings) one from Vive Health and am very happy with it and with service provided by the company.
Rather than throw money away by going to the physical therapist 3 times a week for exercises and 10 minutes of TENS therapy, buying this TENS unit has saved me more than the $35 I paid for it...many times over! The therapist showed me what exercises I needed to do...and I still do them at home. I use this TENS unit while relaxing in my chair and I can use it however long I desire and whenever I want. I've ordered replacement pads and now my wife uses it too. Get it. You won't regret it!
I actually like the unit and have used it daily since I had received it. The item came fast and all seemed well. However the other day I tried to use the other side of the unit because it has two sides so you can have for electrodes on at a time, and the socket that you plug into was kind of loose and that side would only work somewhat. I've contacted Amazon to see if I can get a replacement and just switch out the unit that I have with the new one, but haven't gotten a return on how to do so yet. All in all I do like the unit it's small and Compact and it's very powerful for its size and it does everything that it says it does. Even the electrodes are pretty sticky in are good for about 20 uses before they start to kind of fall off and not stick so well. Like I said I'm trying to get a replacement unit and when that gets done I will be completely happy and would actually give it 5 stars
I love this! I buy it for everyone that says they have back pain because you can't beat the price for the results you get! It's super adjustable. I normally only have it at a low setting and have never had to use it full power because it gets so intense. I have scoliosis and sciatica and this immediately helps my pain after just 20 minutes. I can't say enough good things about this!
Got the little tens unit. I have had two big tens units and they are so difficult to use. This little thing keeps amcharge and you can walk around with it. It does provide great relief. Very pleased.
