I was in awe upon opening this book, it truly feels spectacular and the designs on it are gorgeous. It’s feels rare to have something where the art isn’t just printed on. Beautiful craftmanship, feels magical!
I bought this journal for my #40before40 list. It's perfect! I love the size, makes it travel friendly. As I was flipping through the pages, I noticed someone had written a sentence.
I was traveling to Shimla that day.
I pulled it up on Google Earth and it's a city in India. So, is this a sign? Am I supposed to add a trip to India to my list? I'm intrigued!
This is a lovely piece of old world craftsmanship. The cover design is simple and meaningful (I'm sure it will mean different things to various people, but for me it illustrates the proverb wisdom is a tree of life to those who take hold of her.) I love that the binding is stitched, not glued, and the clasp is very cool though I'm a bit concerned how it will hold up (stay affixed) with daily use. I haven't written in it yet so can't speak to that. The paper has a nice texture and feel. Really a lovely high end journal to give yourself or a friend.
It's a little more rough around the edges of the leather than I expected but hey its rustic and definitely leather! Perfect size and I LOVE that the pages are bound so they lay more flat when it is open. The pages are also perfect! I'm not an artist but a writer and I love how the ink takes to the page. Perfect size and you can't beat the price
I actually liked it I wanted a bigger book for my dreams to be written in, but this one was perfect anyways! It's small but still really beautiful.
