I was pushed into a pool recently with my phone in my pocket. The phone survived thanks to this case! I do wish the screen cover was a bit better quality as I am starting to get scratches, but my phone lived, so 5 stars!

I have experience (too much) replacing screen glass (digitizer) on my Grandkids iPads. You can do it but in my experience you will never get the screen to adhere like the factory. So, I always put the iPad in a snap-together case that holds the screen to the frame for reinforcement. This case does that plus it has thick rubber corners, a screen protector which you can remove, and almost complete port protection too. Camera is also covered but the rubber piece is easily detached... which I did. Great for young kids. Only worry is someone standing on the screen :-0
Now, personally, I hate the color scheme (pink and blue) but my 10 year old GrandDaughter loves it. So far it has held up well.
