LOVE this magazine...Always have. Couldn't believe the price during a lightning deal!
But have already rec'd a notice that I need to renew and I think I've only rec'd 2 issues. ???
Always full of beautiful photos and great ideas and articles, but this isn't a monthly magazine.
My own fault for not realizing that this is a Bi-Monthly publication.
I am a new subscriber to Blooms subscription and am already in love with this incredible magazine! Its articles are helpful and interesting. From cover to cover, the glorious pictures make me feel that I am on a wonderful a mini-vacation.
There seems to be such a lack of good news these days so I decided to subscribe to B&B as an antidote to "reality" news. Birds&Blooms helps me see and appreciate the glorious reality beyond my front door with much greater pleasure.
I have subscribed to Birds and Bloom Magazine (published 6 times a year), and the newer version, published on alternate months, for many years.
The pix are beautiful, the gardening/birding advise excellent. Too nice to throw away (recycle), when I've finished reading. I therefore have a large stack of magazines sitting in baskets, ready to re-read some day. Or some are donated to Dr. office or Nursing homes - I can't bear to just toss them.
Having an e-version is very appealing - I can read each issue, and not have to find a place to store it - it's on my Kindle Fire - ready to read again.
If you've never experienced this great magazine - give it a try. If you're a gardener or love birds, you may fall in love.
I've decided I prefer paper version but I like having at least a mix of five or six magazines on my Kindle reader for when I travel. This was the best visually of the bunch that I selected. I was already familiar with the magazine as one of my neighbors subscribes to it and gives away her extra copies :) so happy day to see it on Kindle lists
PROS colorful photos of birds and flowers -- visually enjoyable
CONS don't plan to really read the articles without zooming them but that is okay for what I needed it for
GOOD OPTION for KINDLE for when you travel
Birds and Blooms provide unusual visual delight . Suitable for any age from very young to very old . If one loves birds and flowers this is a gift that never fails .
This magazine was purchased for a five year old to promote interest in books and reading , As her grandfather I enjoy reading this magazine when she is not about . Highly recommended

We love these magazines! I used to read them at the doctor's office and was amazed at the calm and happy overall effect they had on my health - finally I got a subscription thru Amazon. The pictures are beautiful, close up and helpful in viewing the details of the birds. Information on plants that attract them and everything relating to birds are within the pages. Yes, there are advertisements, that's how magazines are eeking out an existence in our modern world; however, many are related in some way to nature and birds. We really look forward to their arrival every other month.
My grandmother had a subscription to this magazine back in the late 70's until she passed in 2002. I loved getting to go to the mailbox to find it had arrived and would have it to look over and read the articles while I went to bed during my stayovers. It was such a treat and still is!!! Always loved the adventure into wildlife with every publication.
Love this magazine! I like to do drawings of birds, flowers, landscapes, etc, and the photography in this magazine is perfection. Once I've finished with the current edition, I like to take it to the nursing home down the street, the nurses said the patients love it.
I am happy with this purchase. My wife loves "Birds and Blooms" she always has. Now that we can get it on the Kindle she can take it with her. what's not to love?
Love it. I have a handicapped friend whose main pass-time is watching the birds at this feed. He really loves the magazine.
