My first drawing gloves were SmudgeGuard gloves, so I inevitably shall make comparisons between those and these gloves. The SmudgeGuard gloves are quite good and include details that these gloves lack (like a reinforced wristband and the items noted below under "Cons"). That said, these gloves do make a good and more economical substitute.
Pros:
- Soft, so soft!
- Two finger coverage. I have a pinky-only glove as well as two-finger gloves, and I learned that I need both fingers covered. So, yay for that.
- Ambidextrous.
- Lightweight, comfortable, and effective.
- 2 gloves per pack! I prefer having more than one {ahem} on hand.
- Inexpensive when on sale. (I bought mine for $12.97 for two).
Cons:
- Not a lot of size options. I have smallish hands with long fingers. The wrist portion runs a little large (nothing bad, just not snug) on me and the fingers are a bit short; I stretch them when I don the gloves. While the gloves do have some stretch, many buyers may find they do not fit well.
- The seam is on the part where the hand rests. On SmudgeGuard gloves, the seam runs on the thumb side. On these, it runs on the pinky side, which is the side I want to protect because that side brushes against my work surface. So, this means that I sometimes feel the seam pressed against my hand while I work. This strikes me as a very weird placement for the seam, considering the glove's purpose.
Overall, I find these great drawing gloves and have been using them regularly since I got them. They hold up well and suit my needs quite comfortably.
I Love this glove. I have only used it at work but i lives up to all of my expectations. The biggest is being able to lay the palm of my hand on the wacom cintuic and the pen does not move their and make a mark. The glove is new to me and I just started to use it, but I LOVE IT.
Works for what I needed it for (drawing on a tablet). Fits a little big, but I have bony fingers so I’ll forgive that issue. Other than a little big, they’re fine :)
Oh! Maybe could have used a better grip for the bottom of the palm area— nothing too sturdy or sticky— they’re a tiny bit slippery.
I like these. I don't use them for the purpose intended though. They are made for digital artists to use on their drawing pad. I use them when doing pencil/paper drawing because I am left handed and my hand tends to smear the drawing. I find this helps.
What can I say... I got the man side version and it fits myself and my partners hands without issue. Use it mainly on my Surface 3 and the feeling of using it vs not... is night and day. While the placement of the seam is a bit odd... since it's where you rest your hand... it does not detract from its use. You really do not notice it. The product also doesn't cause my hand to get hot, product is very breathable. For just under $13 for two... I could not be happier.

Bought and received these some weeks ago. While in the hospital last November I found out I was a decent colorist. Around February I started getting hooked on the entire adult coloring hobby. One of the issues I find is too often ink or paint or what ever your using gets on the side of your hand. The next thing you know, you have smeared or really messed up the project your working on. If you tend to like things you do to look professional (I guess I'm sorta a perfectionist with somethings) , this can be very frustrating. A Facebook group I'm a part of was talking about this issue and someone mentioned there was a glove made for artist or want to be artist like me. I couldn't find it at any of the art or craft shops I went to so I checked Amazon. A course I found it. Lol.
This is actually the second company I've ordered from on Amazon . I really liked the first one I purchased but I love this one. I find it well made and holds up well? To me it is very comfortable. I tend to be hot temp but this doesn't make my hand at all sweaty. I'm a left handed and it works perfect for me. Most importantly it does what it's supposed to do. I have found it helps greatly keeping the color where I want it to be and not accidentally being smeared. My biggest issue with it is that when I screw up I can't blame it on my hand accidentally putting color where I didn't want it io be. I hope you find this helpful as you make your decision. If so let me know.
Seem to work good. I didn't realize they were for touch tablets. I purchased them because both my husband and myself are artists and use Wacom Intuos tablets often. I wear mine more often than he does. I also like to wear it while drawing with pencils to help not smudge the lead around. The men's is actually shaped better to fit a larger woman's hand in my opinion, however, I can't convince him to trade me LOL!!
All in all, if you tend to drag your hand while drawing, coloring, painting, etc...this product will fit like a ......
Thanks!
I'm fairly new to digital painting and had been struggling with hand rubbing and unwanted hand gestures on a Wacom Intuos. I had started to actually use a cut up sock to help create some glide, but it was cumbersome and hot. I then started looking for solutions when I came upon this product. These gloves work great, are super affordable, very comfortable, and they let your hand breathe. I don't write tons of reviews here, but I felt compelled after using this for several months to come back and post. This glove was the perfect solution to a really annoying problem, and is part of my daily routine. I only ever use my Intous or Bamboo without the glove, if I'm just making quick adjustments and even then, if I'm working for more than 5 minutes I will notice the difference and put the glove on.
These work Fantastic! I came in with low expectations, but definitely WOWed. Gloves always run large for me, so i took a chance on the women's size. Results = Perfect fit. One thing, the inner seam (placement shown in picture) was loose, ended up making a tiny stitch keep it from slipping apart more. Ended up work out even better, as I prefer the seam being a mm shorter.
I am left-handed, and I really like how each glove can fit either hand. I also love that this comes with 2 gloves. I am using 1 for traditional art (aka pencil sketching) as it helps prevent smearing, and I use the other one for my drawing tablet. It works just great. I totally recommend this glove to any artist to help prevent accidental movement/smearage on their art.
