It was great to receive this bombilla. I wish it was larger though. It barely fit enough water to have a small cup of tea. Other than that, the bombilla shipped perfectly fine. I love that it's glass since cleaning is so easy. I read up on the wood versions and thought about the long term maintenance and higher potential for unwanted growth. Overall, the glass is the way to go for ease of upkeep. I've switched over to yerba mate from my coffee consumption and I've already felt the improvements. Still love the taste of coffee, but this will give me the focus that I need for the day without the crash or after-breath.

Amazing gourd, decent bombilla, WRONG COLOR. I ordered light brown with black stitching, not maroon with purple stitching. Still great for mate, though. Perfect for personal all-morning use or for a couple sharing over breakfast. Don’t pay mind to those saying it’s too small. This is absolutely perfect. It isn’t too delicate, either. Plus, simple cleaning vs curing/drying is an additional plus.

The shape seems to brew a stronger cup as well. Though if you are sharing with others you should have plenty of mate to go around before refilling.

I like the Mateo, however the Bombilla has sort of a flaw to it, specifically ; it can get hot, even though I brew my Yerba using 80 degree C as it should be.
Just be aware and on the careful side.

 When I ordered the Gourd, it looked very nice on the photo, and now having it here in front of me it's even more beautiful. Schleich Farm World Tractor with Trailer

Excellent product. I bought the hay conveyor that this tractor can pull and liked it so much we bought this to go with it. It’s nice sturdy plastic and my 3 year old is loving it. I’ve always loved the schleich animals but as they happy with the rabbit hutch that broke easily. Even though the door and scoop come off they’ve been easy to put back on and are still in excellent shape.

This set is sturdy, and so fun. The hitch on the trailer is rubber and somewhat big. I love this because so many of the plastic hitches on trailer sets we have have broken off. Once broken they are unusable! This set is so fun and I love how the trailer can be all the way unlatched so that all of the walls break down. My sons LOVE this set. I had an issue, not with my order, and nothing due to a problem with the product. It was something my son caused to happen to this set. The customer service from this company is unbelievable. First Alert SA3210 Dual Sensor Smoke and Fire Alarm

I literally kissed my fire alarm this morning.
Bought this two months ago to put in my detached building that houses my exotic birds. This morning the heater started to smoke and this alarm detected it IMMEDIATELY! The alarm woke me up (through the baby monitor) and I ran outside barefoot! Luckily, the building didn't even have time to fill with smoke, and you could only smell the smoke on the heater. This fire alarm saved my building and most importantly it saved my beloved birds!! Birds are incredibly sensitive to smoke, so the fact that this thing was able to detect the problem so soon is INCREDIBLE. The alarm was positioned about 5 feet almost directly above the heater. I highly recommend!!!

My old hardwired smoke alarm went off at 4:15 AM 2 nights ago and I dutifully went down to the garage, got the longest ladder (6 foot) and carefully removed the detector from the ceiling (not easy: have to move a side dresser to get the ladder in position and then climb nearly to the top of the ladder, straddling the top and using the paint tray as a place for my other foot while making sure not to hit my head on the ceiling). Okay, I removed the battery and got the detector partially removed from the ceiling - it's still hanging by one wire (slight shock made me stop the process) and THEN found out the problem was a circuit was out - don't know why but electrician coming out on Monday. Why am I telling you all this? Well, I researched the hell out of various alarms and settled for the First Alert SA3210 Dual Sensor Smoke and Fire Alarm. The three alarms arrived today and I read the package insert and saw the following: WARNING! Do not install this Smoke Alarm over an existing electrical box. I called customer service and received prompt assistance. Apparently, if there is too large a hole from the previous hardwired alarm, a draft could occur which would interfere with the operation of the SA3210 unit. I was advised to patch the hole before instilling this unit. So, just a piece of information that might help you decide if this is the smoke alarm you want to purchase. I would leave the current alarms where they are and simply place the new SA3210s elsewhere on the ceiling but 1) dear wife doesn't want more clutter on the ceiling and 2) the battery would still need to be changed as before which is the reason I went with the 10-year lithium model in the first place. (Alternate Headline: No more ladder climb for 10 years!) Good luck. It seems like this is a good unit to purchase if you can install it easily (i.e., not over an existing hole/electrical box).

Finally got around to replacing the ancient smoke detectors around the house. It's amazing what 10 years will do to your smoke detectors!

The testing procedure is clear cut and the design is very modern. I actually will be picking up 2 more of these (already bought 3 of them) as I missed a couple of locations that need replacing.

Installed SA3210 10-year sealed unit on my popcorn ceiling. Since the base that attaches to the ceiling covers they ceiling I was pretty sure that I would be able to attach this unit to my popcorn ceiling. After finding a spot, I used a wood chisel to remove some of the popcorn where the hole would go. Now that the surface was pretty flat I marked the spot and drilled the first 3/16 hole. I then used the base as a template and chiseled the area for the second hole and drilled that hole too. I pushed the red screw anchors into the holes and attached the base. It is very secure as the screws tightened completely. It tested great, and hopefully I am good to about 10 years. After installing the first one easily, I installed 2 more.

THE PROBLEM: Like many of you, I had the you-know-what scared out of me in the middle of the night with what turned out to be a false alarm. I called First Alert, and the agent's first question was whether the unit was located near any type of air vent, fan, return grille, etc. Mine was about 6 feet from a ceiling air vent. THE FIX: Apparently any molecule of dust on the sensors inside the unit can trigger false alarms, so his recommendation was to blow air all around and inside the unit using a can of compressed air or a hair dryer on the cool setting. I used the reverse/blower function on my shop vac, and blasted it from the top and sides. BEFORE YOU REINSTALL BATTERIES: Hold down the test/silence button for 10-15 seconds, then proceed to install the batteries. It's back to normal and working/testing perfectly.

We recently were awakened by our smoke alarm. Unbelievably, an empty bedroom was ON FIRE!!! My husband was able to put out the fire before the fire dept. arrived. With a First Alert extinguisher. Without that smoke alarm, we would have never known. The fire inspector recommends the dual sensor detectors. So, we got extras. The old one worked, it was dual sensor, too. Please, ALWAYS have one of these AND an extinguisher!

I have a couple First Alert dual-sensor alarms that have been on the job for around 7 years. One of them started beeping like the battery was dead, which it wasn't, just partly used. But the unit had apparently reached its end-of-life timer, and would not reset with a fresh battery. I tried to buy the same model, but couldn't find it; apparently this is the upgrade. One of the things I really liked about the last First Alert units was the separate mounting plate, which you put on the wall, then you "screw on" the actual detector to the plate with one-quarter turn to lock it in place. This makes it very convenient for battery changes, testing, and cleaning.

Of course, when they "upgraded" the models, they had to change the mounting design. The new mounting plate is smaller, and the mounting tabs are different, so you can't just leave the old mounting plate on the wall and attach the new detector to it. And to top it off, the mounting holes in the new plate aren't in the same positions as the old plate. You can re-use one hole but have to drill a new one for the second screw. I guess keeping the mounting plate the same would just be too convenient for the customer, I guess.

Otherwise, the display is about the same, and I assume the function is also. Would have gotton 5 stars if not for the mounting plate issue.

Packaging:
The three alarms arrived in individual bulk brown box packaging; nothing wrong with that. In the box was the alarm, 2 AA alkaline batteries, mounting screws, and instructions. I am a guy so who needs instructions. The alarm itself was wrapped very well in bubble-wrap. I am very satisfied with the packaging.

Installation:
Installation was a breeze. You first install the two batteries according to the diagram on the alarm. The new alarms were replacing old First Alert fire alarms that we have had for over 20 years. I now know you should replace alarms every 10 years. I removed the old alarms by loosening the mounting screws a couple turns, turning the old alarm to align the mounting holes and that was that. The new alarm has a base and alarm. The new base fit perfectly over the existing screws from the old alarm. Tighten the screws and the hard part is done. Then place the alarm over the mounting plate and give a 1/3 turn and you are done.

Operation:
After they were mounted I pushed the test button and each unit gave two sets of 3 beeps. Happy alarms.

Observations:
I have heard that the alkaline batteries provided last between one and two years. When they do wear out I will be trying Lithium batteries to see if they last longer. I tried Lithium 9V batteries in the old alarms and two out of four had corrosion on the positive terminal after one year. (P.S. the fourth new alarm was a CO2 + Fire alarm). The only time our fire alarms have ever gone off is when my bride has used them as a dinner bell. Alarm goes off = Dinner is done. PBJ for dinner tonight.

• Installation was easy because there are many holes available on the mounting bracket so you can re-use your last detector's screws or have room for error when installing.
• I love the idea of dual sensor that is battery operated vs. hard-wired. Have only had it a few days so cannot attest to false alarms or not.
• BUT opening the battery compartment was difficult. Ridiculous pin to remove first.
• And it is only ETL approved, not UL. Even though it appears from what I read online that UL and ETL are both what are called Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories (NRTL). UL develops the testing standards and tests to them. ETL tests to UL standards.

I bought 4 of these 10 year lithium battery, dual sensor smoke and fire alarms which were rated #1 by Consumer Reports. Installed easily and hopefully won't ever be needed. I find it very upsetting that the dual sensor alarms are not available in stores, and are only available on line, when they are rated the best for alerting you to fires and smoke which will save lives. They should be readily available in many stores. Please note that they have an inexpensive battery version of this smoke detector, but thanks to a new California law in July 2015 requiring 10 year batteries they are not available in California .

These solar lights is one of the best things I've done for my Garden. These are great. They are quite bright and very responsive. We used two per step but they are so bright we could have just used one and it would have been fine. Might order more for other areas.

A bit more information about the lights. There is a push button on the back you need to make sure is on before you secure it. It can be a bit vague to tell if it is on or off.

Product arrived earlier than promised. They put out more light than I expected. Installation was super easy. One light was installed on my porch where it only gets indirect sunlight and it still works well. My wife feels more secure now with these lights in place at the front and back door and over the garage.

Initial quality seems great, and for what they are have the light output I'd expect. I used four of these in our chicken coop to aid in scaring off predators, and to light our way if we go in there at night. Bang for the buck I'm giving 5 stars. I'll edit if they break or otherwise don't hold up.

These lights work great. They illuminate the surrounding area well. The sensors even pick up my cats and other animals as they go by. I would have given 5 stars if they had an intermediate brightness that was on all the time.

I've had many outside security lights, but these are the best i've ever used. Simple to install and trouble free. Cover the solar panel with the palm of your hand, then press the on button on the back. If light comes on you need to nothing more than attach the light with one screw. The side lights give you a larger lighted area, and the sensor activates at a greater distance than my old hard wired lights. You can also attach velcro a velcro strip (Not Included) to the back of the light to give them mobility. I've purchased another set of 4 to cover the four sides of my camping trailer.

I used a strong outdoor mounting tape to install these quickly and they are really lighting up my yard. They are so much better than I even anticipated. As soon as I get home from vacation I will be ordering at least another box of them for a few dark spots that need the coverage. I might even get some for use at my church... I love this product, it worked amazing on my hair and nails, I didn't see much difference in my skin, but hair and nails are amazing. I've already tried it out and everything works as expected. The clasp is strong and secure so I don't have to worry that it's going to come off my kitty's harness. The locking button works well when I have the leash extended to the desired length. The only comment I have for other users is to be careful when retracting the leash to use your hand to guide it in. It has a powerful retraction and can accidentally jerk your small pet off their feet if you just let it rewind without controlling the speed.

I bought this dog leash to replace our old broken leash. Compared to my old leash this retracts really smoothly. I don't feel it snags when it's retracting or when I'm pulling. The quality of the handle is really good and does the leash. I think this is a very good set and will recommend.

The leash's button allows you to temporarily and/or permanently lock the length, which is perfect if your dog loves to explore and you need to call your dog to your side when a car is coming down the street. Our previous retractable leash brand only had a button for a permanent lock, but the temporary feature is really useful. Comfortable in my hand and the dog has a great time the button is very easy to use so if I get in a situation where I want the dog to stay close to me I press the button and slide it forward. It is then locked and the leash no longer is adjustable.

We have dogs that pull hard. We tried another product before and the internal spring broke in a few months. This one is heavy duty (thus a bit heavy), but very reliable on leash returning to the case when needed. I do like the quick leash lock by just pushing the button. Releasing is also easy. I have to see how long it lasts, but we go for dog walks multiple times daily and it has so far performed above our expectations. It seems like a good product. Recommended!

Solid leash. Handle is a nice rubberized material, makes for a nice comfortable grip. Locking mechanism works fine, although it can be a little on the loud side if you are trying to stop a sprinting dog. By the way, I use this with a nearly 2yr old golden retriever with a ton of energy (she pulls at the leash as if she was trying to tow a sled). The only thing I think could be better is the leash clip, in that it does not freely rotate enough. I know that it does some but it just is not quite smooth enough to keep the leash from twisting.

Pretty good extendable leash, though it is somewhat difficult to control a super active dog with it. The extra items were nice and very useful. Sometimes the locking mechanism fails to work though so just be sure to really slide it up to secure it. Definitely red and not orange though which was a little disappointing.

This is kind of a run-of-the-mill retractable dog leash. I really can't tell any difference between this one and others I've had in the past. I have an 86lb excitable puppy who pulls and this has held up admirably so far. My only complaint is that I ordered what looked like an orange leash (to match my dog's harness) and received a red leash instead.

I thought this was a pretty good deal for what you pay. Although I wish it came with a fork the spoon seems pretty tough ("infant" sized spoons and forks don't fit either so don't lose the spoon that comes with it). Personally I don't think the plastic seemed very cheap. Although I don't know if I would use the handle because the clamps don't feel strong enough if there was food in it to stay closed. Overall I think it was a great buy! Just thought I would add a few photos!

Love everything except that the lock on one of the fastener broke seconds after I opened it, checked every single piece then when I tried to lock one of the fasteners won’t click and that’s it.. I want a replacement please.
So I got the replacement the next day, very happy with this product; I am able to bring homemade soups and food to work and I just plug it in and by lunchtime, my food is heated up real nice.

After wasting 10 minutes of my lunch standing in a long line for the microwave at work, I decided to give this lunchbox a go. While the instructions provided are simple enough, there is a little bit of learning curve. Best summed up, allow your foods to rise to room temperature first. Place solids in the lunchbox 45-60 minutes before you intent to eat. If heating soup, Place liquids and solids separately in the lunchbox 1-1.5 hours prior to lunchtime. Occasionally remove the lid to stir foods around to ensure event heating. Your food won't become extremely hot, but a nice temperature for eating.

I don't regret my choice.

I got thing food warmer for my job. No more waiting in front of the microwave. I put it to warm around 9 am and I leave till about 12:30 and it’s nice and hot. It never over heats just right. I wash it and keep it my job.

I love my little lunch box. I just plug it in when I get to work and my lunch is hot and ready to eat by lunch time. Once I figured out that you have to put your food directly in the lunch box and not leave it in the small container that is in the box, it worked very well. Another tip, don't expect "hot" in the 30 minutes they tell you in the instructions. I plug my box in at least two hours before I eat. All in all, I absolutely love skipping the microwave line! Very yummy and my hair is growing like mad

Bought these in the hopes they would improve my weak, brittle, peeling nails and boy oh boy have they ever! I'm just amazed and I haven't even finished the first bottle. I'm also only taking one a day because I've read that it's not good to take too much biotin. There's also been an added bonus that I wasn't expecting. These taste absolutely amazing! Also I can tell the difference. Warning try not to eat these like candy. Taste just that good!

I had issues with ingrown hairs and have literally cried everytime I shaved my legs until now. 2 weeks into taking these and I can shave like I was in my 20's again. Really never thought it possible. My hair has volume and I only need to wash once a week. I'm never letting this bottle get empty.

Kano Motion Sensor Kit – Learn to code with movement

So far like it for the ease of use.. My daughter 14 and son 6 are having some fun with it.. Not fully convinced to give it a 5 start there are some limitations and frustration when you have to start all over as it freezes up but overall a fun toy and for the money it is OK.

I bought this for my nephew for Christmas. I was looking through the coding things and stumbled upon this. I was hesitant at first as he is very smart, but gets easily distracted or bored as he completes things quickly. After reading the reviews I decided to get it for him. The second he opened it and I told him what it did he got VERY excited and abandoned all his other gifts and went straight to his computer to play. He spent the rest of the night having so much fun coding his own games. He though it was the coolest thing ever. He even kept calling me over to see what he built. I never felt so accomplished as an Aunt! My sister texted me today to tell me I won Christmas as he is STILL playing it! The only thing I’m worried about is there not being enough things for him to do— making it so he finishes it all in two or three days and then abandons it. But for the price, learning ability, and happiness on his face I’ll take it! I’m happy that he is having fun with it while learning to code. I would most certainly recommend this to anybody that knows a kid like him. (And at 8 years old he was able to do it mostly all on his own, the only thing that I had to do is help him fix some things when he got too excited and skipped reading a part of the instructions.) -Skylar Monella

Love Kano! My son has learned so much and this add on is a wonderful experience. It give more depth to the programming that he has already done. The Kano support staff is the best I've ever seen! They are prompt in responding to questions, bugs and user error! Can't say enough wonderful things about this company!

super fun for the price. A little gimmicky, and somewhat limited in what my daughter can create with it...but it's a great way to start thinking about interactivity in programming. Would recommend and buy as a gift. [Programmer father of 9yo]

My 5 year old loves Kano - he was able to start dragging and dropping code blocks in the Kano App to program the motion sensor immediately. The intuitive User Interface just makes sense to him! Whilst a deeper understanding of coding will come over time, this has definitely accelerated his learning. Thanks Kano!

My son received the motion sensor kit as a gift. He enjoys coding on scratch, but we weren’t ready to invest in a robot to code. With this kit, he interacts with his code instead of just seeing it on a computer screen. He doesn’t play with it a lot but enjoys it.

exactly what the nephew wanted...so how can I complain...besides, I wouldn't know how as I've no idea what this does! =)

My kids are addicted and I love that they're learning new skills.

Good but probably best for the 10-11 age range. My 15 yr old enjoyed it but says he's too old for it. Will keep around for his younger brothers.

Milkies"No-Break, No-Leak" Breast Milk Storage Bags, 50-Count, BPA-Free

These milk freezer storage bags have worked very well for me. I highly recommend them!!

For anyone wanting advice about storing breast milk, here are the other items I've used that have served me very well:

- I freeze my milk in these 1oz TRAYS (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00553XPMM), which in my opinion are a genius product!!! I highly recommend them for anyone creating a stash of frozen pumped breast milk, as the 1oz serving size is perfect so you can defrost only exactly as much as you need, and the frozen bars are so easy to store.

- I purchased these TONGS (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00JRXQCHQ) for transferring the frozen bars from the tray into storage bags. First I'd dislodge each bar out of its mold by pushing on the bottom of the tray and letting the bars fall into the tray lid. Then I'd use these tongs to pick up each bar and place them in a storage bag.

- I bought 3 of these FREEZER STORAGE ORGANIZERS (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00BAGEA1I) to stack my storage bags neatly in my freezer & make it easy to know which bars to defrost first.

I've used Parent's Choice, Medela, Lansinoh, Up & Up, and these are my favorite. I love that the guidelines are right there on the bag and it let's you fill to 7oz. Downsides are that they don't freeze flat, and that you can't get them in grocery stores. These are great for mom's who work or are away from their baby long enough to need someone else to feed them. My box came smooshed in the mail but bags were unharmed.

My favorite thing about these bags is that they have storage instructions for the different storage temperatures. This is reassuring when you are leaving it with another caregiver. I also like how thick the bag is. It will stand up strong once the milk is in it. However, then it won't freeze flat, it will have an incline. I guess you could stagger them in the freezer. If you're not stock piling a lot of milk and worried about freezer space these are great. I'm sure they won't leak; they are very sturdy.

I am very happy with these bags. I've only tried the Medela ones and was NOT pleased - i thought the bag was sealed and ended up spilling at least a tablespoon of breastmilk (any spillage is worth crying over!). I prefer the size of the Milkies bags - adequate room to fill them with at least 4 oz and still have room the squeeze excess air out before sealing. I'm a repeat customer and don't see any reason to buy any other type of bag!

Great quality bags but the measurement on the front is not accurate. I have to remember to write down the ounces of milk on the bag before I pour the milk from the bottle in there otherwise I have to pour it back out for accurate measurement. I really like that the guidelines for storing milk is right on the bag! Super convenient!

I continue to order these bags. They are tough and I have never had an issue with leaks. I used the pump n store bags from medala before, and while convenient, I had a few leaks. You can buy attachments to hold the bags if you prefer to pump into the bag, or you can just use tape. I prefer to use a bottle and then funnel the milk into the bags, after having a couple spills while pumping into bags.

I love these bags. The messages on them are great- especially if you have someone else watching your baby and you want to feel peace of mind that they will be reminded on how to care for your milk (and your child!). For me- I have a large oversupply so they are just too expensive for me to use regularly or else I would!

I've tried SEVERAL brands and they all smelled so bad of plastic. These don't have that awful plastic smell. I've bought these over and over again throughout my pumping journey.

Work great! Just as expected

These are just what I wanted. I wanted storage bags that didn't have pleats on the bottom because I felt like milk was getting left in the bag in the pleats. These are a heavy duty plastic and stand on their own. I am very happy with the purchase. I just wish they had an easier, cleaner tear strip on the top.
