I have a large cat that is indoors only but often wants to go outside. I wanted a leash that was nice and long to give him room to explore so I got this small dog leash that has auto retract capabilities. This leash seems to be well made. I've already tried it out and everything works as expected. The clasp is strong and secure so I don't have to worry that it's going to come off my kitty's harness. The locking button works well when I have the leash extended to the desired length. The only comment I have for other users is to be careful when retracting the leash to use your hand to guide it in. It has a powerful retraction and can accidentally jerk your small pet off their feet if you just let it rewind without controlling the speed.
I bought this dog leash to replace our old broken leash. Compared to my old leash this retracts really smoothly. I don't feel it snags when it's retracting or when I'm pulling. The quality of the handle is really good and does the leash. I think this is a very good set and will recommend.
The leash's button allows you to temporarily and/or permanently lock the length, which is perfect if your dog loves to explore and you need to call your dog to your side when a car is coming down the street. Our previous retractable leash brand only had a button for a permanent lock, but the temporary feature is really useful. Comfortable in my hand and the dog has a great time the button is very easy to use so if I get in a situation where I want the dog to stay close to me I press the button and slide it forward. It is then locked and the leash no longer is adjustable.
We have dogs that pull hard. We tried another product before and the internal spring broke in a few months. This one is heavy duty (thus a bit heavy), but very reliable on leash returning to the case when needed. I do like the quick leash lock by just pushing the button. Releasing is also easy. I have to see how long it lasts, but we go for dog walks multiple times daily and it has so far performed above our expectations. It seems like a good product. Recommended!
The leash is strong, working for a 10 month old Golden Retriever and lasting in the rain. No tangle, lightweight. The seat belt works and is holding him in place and surviving his teeth. Even the doggie bags separate easily. Thrilled to get value when others are wanting ridiculous amounts of money for pet products.

Solid leash. Handle is a nice rubberized material, makes for a nice comfortable grip. Locking mechanism works fine, although it can be a little on the loud side if you are trying to stop a sprinting dog. By the way, I use this with a nearly 2yr old golden retriever with a ton of energy (she pulls at the leash as if she was trying to tow a sled). The only thing I think could be better is the leash clip, in that it does not freely rotate enough. I know that it does some but it just is not quite smooth enough to keep the leash from twisting.
Pretty good extendable leash, though it is somewhat difficult to control a super active dog with it. The extra items were nice and very useful. Sometimes the locking mechanism fails to work though so just be sure to really slide it up to secure it. Definitely red and not orange though which was a little disappointing.
This is kind of a run-of-the-mill retractable dog leash. I really can't tell any difference between this one and others I've had in the past. I have an 86lb excitable puppy who pulls and this has held up admirably so far. My only complaint is that I ordered what looked like an orange leash (to match my dog's harness) and received a red leash instead.
Great retractable leash! It’s heavier than others I’ve owned and I like the solid feel of it, it doesn’t slip out of my hand. Came with free goodies, poop bag dispenser, a clicker and a whistle. Nice color. I’m very pleased with this order.
I am really impressed with this dog leash. We had spent so much money on cheaper versions just to have them break and when our last one did, I said I was going to invest in a quality one but also, one that stayed within the price range I wanted. Upon arrival, the package alone was impressive and thought out. The weight of this leash is impressive too. It feels sturdy. The retractable cord is impressive and super sturdy as well.
