Please take this review with a grain of salt. I am not a coffee drinker and actually have come to dislike even the smell of coffee. I'm just a nice husband who's taken to buying coffee presents for my wife who complains about all the store bought coffee she buys.
My wife LOVED this coffee. One of the best she says she's had. She's not partial to dark roast coffee and this one didn't trigger that reaction at all. I bought one of these for Christmas and it was gone in a month which is quite fast. She's asked me to put it on Subscribe & Save.
I got to try this coffee when I lodged at the Red Lion hotel near Portland. One sip and I was hooked. I am more of a tea drinker than I am coffee, but I thought this was pretty good! I've only really had Starbucks coffee and I thought this was so much better than their blonde and medium roast. It is very smooth and rich, and absolutely no burnt taste. It does come grounded, which may turn off some coffee snobs, but if you want something that is pure smooth coffee, then this will certainly do it. I wish I knew more coffee lingo so I could describe it better, but simply, it's good old coffee.
I like it dark and strong. Like if my spoon isn't standing up straight, it's not strong enough. This hits that mark. Boyds is deep and rich, with a smooth flavor and no bitterness. It's sweet, with toasty flavor that is mellow dark dark. It lingers! The grind is great for my aeropress, with a little of a faster seep through, so be aware of that if you use something similar. I have this on Subscribe and Save, and will not be switching anytime soon.
This is the only coffee I will buy anymore. Boyd's has the best flavor, and I've tried almost all of the organic coffee out there.
Support your local economy and try this perfectly roasted coffee. I have been drinking this every day for 4 months. I am very happy with it. Boyd's has been around for decades in Portland. It is tried and true and this is their free-trade and organic product.

Love this coffee and I'm a total coffee snob. It passes my taste test with flying colors.
Absolutely love this coffee. First had this served at the Winn Hotel in Las Vegas. One of the baristas working there was nice enough to to go back and find out what great coffe they served. This is the brand they serve in there coffee stand....it's wonderful!
This is the best coffee ever. We've tried all sorts of coffees over the past 15+ years. We have enjoyed many, believe me... from Peet's, to a few Starbucks, and even some store-brand whitelabels... but nothing compares to Red Wagon by Boyd's!
Really good coffee. We tried this on vacation in Utah, and it was so good we've been ordering it ever since.
Boyds is one of my favorite coffees and while I prefer a dark roast, my husband likes medium so we use this when I'm compromising. Boyds produces some of my favorite coffee. I buy it from Amazon on "subscribe & save" and get a fantastic price - almost always lower than I can get on sale in stores.
