My mom has been wanting to get Smart plugs for her home however she's not so tech savvy say the least so I got these hoping this would be easy to install and actually work with her Alexa. Good news they do and setup was super easy, takes only about 10mins for setup if done correctly.
When I first went to connect i I entered my wifi password wrong and had to reset the plug in.
*note- if you need to factory reset like I had too you hold power button down on smart plug in for 5 secs, than it will start blinking and you'll heard a click it's reset itself*
So if you enter everything in right the first time it's really easy.
To set this up: you need to download the enther app in your Google or apple app in my case I downloaded mine through apple app.
It than takes you step by step having you create a enther account than you follow instructions that it says, it takes only minutes to complete just make sure plug is close to router and your standing next to plug while completing the installation as it will speed the process up.
After that is complete if you want to use it with Amazon you need to go into your Amazon Alexa app. Add the skills Mocess app the username and password is the same as what you used to create the enther app login.
Follow the instructions and you'll be able to tell Alexa to turn lights for example and it will turn them on.
It's pretty awesome. If your using it with a lamp you'll want to turn the light on and plug into the smart plug. Than give Alexa the command to turn off.
I'm very pleased with this product and quite surprised how easy it was for setup. Not to mention since this is a knock off brand from the more expensive smart products I really was unsure if It was going to connect to Alexa or not, but it does and it didn't cost me a fortune to go smart and you get (2) in the package.
Since we got Amazon Echo Dots for our kids this past Christmas, we have been "smartening" up our house. This has included light switches and plugs so they can control the lights, fans and lamps in their rooms. It also allows us to check once they have gone to school and we are at work to make sure they are all turned off, and if not, I can do it remotely. But I digress. I had bought a different brand of plugs to match up to the switches we bought. They were about twice the price of these. I had bought the same brand thinking I didn't want a bunch of different brand apps on my phone to control the different devices. What I found out was that once they were set up with Alexa, you hardly ever, if ever, used the native app on your phone. You would just tell Alexa what to do. So I decided to try these less expensive plugs. They are about half the cost of the other ones. Just like the other ones, they are designed so they don't take up the whole outlet plate. These still let you use the other plug, either for another smart plug, or as a regular outlet. This is a major feature. The other benefit is that these do not require a separate hub. They have wifi included in the plug so you can plug them in and set it up on the network, and then you are good to go. A simple connection to Alexa and all is good. Why pay more when these work great. I have only had these for a few days, but they are working great. If anything changes in the future or they aren't as durable as they appear, I will update this review.

1) This Smart Plug is very Easy to setup. It comes with a small manual on instructions how to download the app.
2) The Smart phone app is easy to navigate and it gives instructions image by images - So it was very easy to set it up
3) You need to have Google Home or Alexa app installed prior to the above steps.
4) The Actions of the smart plug are instant.
5) You can name the appliance the way you like, you can customize it in the app. (I customized as Lights just to be simple) I have only one smart plug in the living room.
I bought this because i usually have the timers on my lamps but they stopped working and they can be pretty annoying to deal with. I use the smart bulb so i say why not get the plugs. I am so impress with these plugs. They are Super easy to set up, it took me about 2 minutes each to set up. They work fantastic, the only thing is that i which the turn on and off routine can be in the same routine and not two different ones. There might be a way to do it but i haven't learn. But that is just a silly problem it is not a big of a deal. It was even easier to connect it with my echo. I absolutely love these plugs and will be buying more.
These plugs have worked great. I was kind of apprehensive when I ordered these because all the reviews were from people who got the product for free, so there's an incentive to leave positive reviews, but in this case they are justified.
The software was was a little different in the fact that you not only need to download the app, but you also need to add a skill for these to work. Maybe that's why other brands I tried all failed, no skill was added.
Others I tried would turn on and off by themselves and kept dropping the signal.
I've used these for about a month and a half now and haven't had a single issue.
3/15/19 UPDATE: I've had two plugs fail with in a couple days of each other. It's odd because I can turn them on and off from the Alexa app on my phone but not through Alexa.

These smart plugs were easy to set up...I downloaded the Enther home app onto my phone, plugged in the smart plugs to a couple of lamps, and added devices to the app. The app itself is pretty user friendly...easy to recognize icons, simple operation. At first my phone got confused and tried to connect to the plug's wifi field, but once I reconnected it to my home wifi, everything connected like it was supposed to.
I can turn lamps on and off by pushing a button on my phone, or still use the wall switch - although if you turn the switch off and on, there's a delay while the smart plug reconnects before you can use the phone to control it again. There's also a loud click noise whenever the plug turns on/off, but that's normal with smart plugs in my experience.
Connected to my network in a few minutes and works with an extension cord to turn all items on at once. The app has a scheduling option and I've used this to make a schedule to turn on and off my dogs' heating pads every day. The app almost has TOO much configuration in it, but it's nice to have options! I have this plugged into an outlet behind my sofa and there is a very quiet, but audible click when the socket is turned on or off...just a small thing that I appreciate so that I know it's working!
I have quite the collection of smart switches in my house of various brands. The setup process for these switches is tied for first in ease of setup/use. The android app works well and is full featured. The housing feels very sturdy - about half of my other smart switches feel like they're going to crumble when i try to unplug them. I'm using these sets of switches in my network closet to control the redundant power supply on one of my servers - much cheaper and easier to setup a set of these for all of my devices than to buy a network controlled power strip.
I LOVE having these in our home. With two kids in the house who are often still scared of the dark, it is so nice to use these with our google home and schedule when the lights turn on and off. We have one in their bathroom with a low wattage light bulb and another in the living room so that there's no worry of being in the dark. Easy to set up, easy to use, easy to change the schedule, or turn on off-schedule. We'll be getting a few more for sure!
When I can use my phone to control the things in my home, it’s the best thing.
This smart plug is incredibly easy to set up. I can set up the routine on a timer on and off for lamp and lighting when I’m not at home. Not sure how long these smart plug will last, but for now it’s a helper
