I need these all the time, and often GoPro does not include the thumbscrews as part of various mount packages, even though you'll need them--which means you will be cannibalizing your other mounts to find a thumbscrew for your other mounts.
And if you buy these thumbscrews from GoPro, it will cost you bigtime. So far, these thumbscrews seem to be every bit as good as the OEMs. Great value for FIVE (qty 5) GoPro Hero thumbscrew mounting components. Would definitely buy again.
This was perfect for my needs. I keep loosing my thumb screws or they are difficult to screw into the mount. This item provided me with multiple screws, a nice tool for screwing them in and a bag for the extra mounts.
Arrived on time performs like I bought it for. Extra screws are never a bad thing. The lock nut is the reason I bought these. Cannot really tighten the screws down without the lock nut. Seams tight until you use a cheater, and then you realize why the camera kept moving. No five star because I am not sure how you can give extra screws and wrench a five.
Great little set of thumbscrews, and this means I don't have to go searching for one when I want to mount my GoPro somewhere. I have one ready to go and waiting for me. Great purchase if you want to be prepared to go anywhere with your GoPro and not forget to have a thumbscrew with you.

The biggest thing i was curious about this item was the square 'wrench.' I was scared you would have to guide/balance the wrench in Just the right spot then turn, but you can place the wrench on top of the thumbscrew and push down without it going thru. this way you can apply all of your force to either loosen or tighten the thumbscrew.

Good, low cost set of thumbscrews. No issues using them in place of the GoPro branded items.
Pro Tip: Put a little dab of grease in those nuts, it really helps tightening down the screws, keeping the tight.
