It floats great, easily supporting my camera. It actually saved my camera a few times as it came out of my swimsuit pocket while snorkeling I looked and saw the bright yellow strap above the water making it easy to locate. I'm not sure what type of foam is used inside the strap, but it dries very quickly, so you don't have a soggy strap in your beach bag. There is also a quick release clip on the cord so you can easily remove the floating part of the strap if you want to use your camera without the big, yellow float dangling off of it. Great price for an effective tool!

Just received my order and I attached my Fuji XP camera to it and dunked it in the tube. It floats. I’d you can tell from the picture it floats quite a bit too. The internet tells me the camera weighs in at 179 g (0.39 lb / 6.31 oz). Construction seems solid and the lanyard piece is detachable. I can’t speak to durability yet but for now it seems like it will be fine with the light load I will be using it for. The only thing construction wise I can knock it for is the webbing that attaches the lanyard to the float is only sewn into one of the three reinforced stitches in the float. Lastly I do wish it was smaller in terms of the diameter of the float since it is a bit bulky on the wrist and may prove to make freediving a big more difficult. Maybe. We will see in a few weeks and months how it performs. For now it’s four stars for value (2pack), capability and material construction.
Cheap, easy to use insurance for a phone in a kayak. I just drilled a couple of small holes in the case for my Galaxy S9 and attached the lanyard. The S9 is water resistant, but will not float. A working phone under 30+ feet of water might as well be dead. This is a simple and easy thing to help keep my phone above the surface. The two pack means my GoPro got one too!
Now that summer is almost here (May 25th date of posting) I am starting to use this float more and more often. I just used it the other day doing some water activities on the lake with my GoPro and the camera float kept it floating. It is also highly visible being bright yellow. I can see using this at multiple places like the beach, at a waterpark, or at the lake. I will definitely be using this quite often this summer when I get the wakeboard out!

It's a durable life jacket for the camera. Works amazingly, and really does keep it above water. Easy to use, attach to your product and slide hand through opening!!! Another must have! My galaxy S8+ is waterproof, but that won't help if I can't get it off the bottom of the lake. This floater is the perfect size and easily would be able to float a much heavier device, such as camera. Great value to have a spare. Bright yellow color is nice, and the strap is big enough to put around your forearm (or for a smaller person up to the shoulder).
I haven't had a chance to use this in the pool yet but I did try it out in a sink. The float strap floats as advertised! It is nice because you can use it to attach any waterproof electronic that has a hook on it. There is also a button to detach the floaty section from the electronic section. This is going to come in very handy when I'm in the water. It floats just like it advertises. It came in packaging that had "Protective Slim Case" written on it so not sure if that was just for the sake of shipping, but that in the end isn't a big deal. It really is just for function and it works for what it was made for.
