Let's start with the positive first. The charger seems to be well built and upon the short test I administered, was able to Quick Charge both my GS8+ as well as my wife's GS8 simultaneously with no problem. NOTE:(You must use quick charge capable charging cables. The cable that comes with your device should be sufficient if the device supports Qualcomm Quick Charge technology. I purchased some cables here on Amazon that work great. There are many to choose from if you do a search. Make sure the description states that they support quick charge before you purchase.)
Now on to the negative, and the reason for my 1 star rating. The product that I received was clearly used. First off, one of the round transparent stickers that was used to seal both ends of the small box it came in was cut and another white sticker with a bar-code was placed over it instead. The white sticker had not adhered to the box very well so it was easy to see the round sticker underneath that had been cut. This white sticker was clearly placed in way in order to cover up the fact that this box had previously been opened. Secondly, the unit itself has very visible wear and tear as there were enough scratches around the base where it plugs into the port in your car to indicate that it had been used for awhile before it was returned and then re-boxed and sold to me as a "NEW" unit.
At the end of the day it boils down to this. I paid for a brand new, unused product and the fact that I was sent a used one under the guise of being new is totally unacceptable. I am not a new or nothing kind of guy but if I wanted a used charger I would have rummaged through a local yard sale or picked one up at a nearby thrift store. Buyer beware. If you purchase from this seller, don't expect to get a new product. I am willing to give the seller a second chance and will even update my review to reflect any new experience, but as of this moment I can't in good conscience recommend this product or seller.
UPDATE: After posting this review I was promptly taken care of by the seller. They shipped a new charger free of charge which I received within 2 days. It was a new product and works as advertised. It will charge both of our Galaxy 8 phones with a quick charge (Qualcomm) simultaneously. This is exactly what I needed. Overall I would say the product is a good product. Time will tell how it holds up with prolonged use. It seems well built though so I'm hopeful we will get many years of use out of this charger. I raised my review from 1 to 4 stars to reflect the overall quality of the product as well as the superb customer service that I received. I would not hesitate to purchase this product again. Just do yourself a favor and make sure you get a new item.
I like that this feels light but sturdy and fits snugly into the port. I had a different quick charge 3.0 charger but I gave it away because it had a bright blue led that was distracting when I'd drive at night-- I could see if reflecting on the back window and sometimes I'd forget and it would confuse me-- it also only had one 3.0 quick charge port and fit loose. In the attached image, it's next to my old trusty TomTom charger that had one USB slot that charged at 2.1 amp instead of the older slow charging USB port.
So far so good. I'd suggest checking your charging cables. Some won't fast charge. Tried several cables and most don't fast charge, but when you find one... don't lose it.
The unit is very nice and well built, The biggest advantage is that it enables the fast charging mode on my phone. It delivers what is promised.
Charges fast! If yours isn't working with Quick charge, change the cord you're using.

It works great! It charges my phone fast, at least 1% charge per minute. Even if you use both same time, it still put out the same charge, fast on each phone. I highly recommend this product.
As I often have at least one person in the back seat when I take road trips. They charge your mobile devices fast and I haven't had any issue with loose connects and the soft ambient light at night looks good as well.
