Contego insulated stainless steel water bottle firmly (2.8 inch diameter). It hasn't fallen out yet! I especially like the long belt which goes around my (32 inch) waist in back, then in front, and then loops through the eye on the front of the pouch holder and then loops back on itself as you adjust it. The belt sticks to itself (using the familiar hook-and-eye 'Velcro like' technology) to hold the adjustment and any excess belt length. Thus the end of the belt doesn't dangle or require any tucking in my pants or require any safety pins to keep it out of way.
This belt also fits my 42 inch chest and would probably work for 48 inches. Plenty of room for those with a larger waist.
I'm not sure why it was originally advertised for women joggers. The color is black and the zippered pouch can hold any smaller items including cell phones, credit cards, folded currency, etc. It looks more unisex to me.
This three inch model easily holds both my Camelbak and Hydro Flask 20 oz bottles. They are easy to pull out and put back when I want to take a drink. Plenty of room for my Galaxy S7 phone -- fits with room to spare. My waist is 32 in and there is about another five inches smaller you could go without having loose strap hanging out. I would guess it could accommodate a waist size of up to a foot or maybe slightly more than that before you would need an extension. This is well designed and made, highly recommend it. (I am a fitness walker and it doesn't bounce around regardless of pace or terrain; can't say how it would be with the higher up and down motion of running.)
I have been a runner for 35 years and have probably used the same water bottle pack for the past 20! I ordered this one by AIHOLES because I needed a pack that would hold my smart phone. What impresses me most about this pack is how lightweight it is--I can barely tell I am wearing it even with a full water bottle. It definitely holds my phone and has a little pocket ito place my keys. I also like the way the water bottle slants in the pack for easy grabbing. There is a loop that tightens that will secure your water bottle when you pull it over the bottle, but I have not needed that; my water bottle does not bounce or move around The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is that the belt that fastens around my waist is HUGE! It is obviously made to fit a much,much larger person. I have adjusted it to fit, but I have a lot of excess belt material that I have to wrap around the belt so that it doesn't hang down, which would bother me when running. I understand people come in different sizes, but maybe they could make 2 sizes to eliminate this problem?.
Comfortable. Just what I was looking for to securely hold my water bottle on my jogs. Has room for small items. I didn't need it for my phone as I wear that on my arm. But I do use the pockets for ID, cash, and Chapstick.
I have to put mine facing behind me since the way i jog causes my arms to hit the water bottle. ( I jog with my arms at my hips) I just slide it around to the front when I want a drink.
I ordered this because me current one broke and I'm so glad it did. This one is far superior to what I was using and cheaper. For a great price you get a belt that doesn't bounce when you run, holds the water bottle securely, has pockets for literally everything, a bungee section for hanging shirts, towels, etc and a really large pocket (finally) for my phone. I have a Galaxy 5 (I know, old school) with an otterbox case and it never fit in any pockets. It does with ease on this one and the material that the belt is made out of is so comfy, I barely know I'm running in it except for the fact that I have all the stuff I need to carry with me on a 10 mile run!! I just love it and am so happy with it.

I use mine when I kick scooter for longer trips. Holds my Camelback water bottle very well. I put a 3 oz. mini spray bottle in the elastic pocket next to the water bottle. This is a decent fanny pack for holding a small amount of stuff. Although it's produced by a company with the tragically comedic name, "AIHOLES." Really guys? You could've named your company anything and you went with AIHOLES? AI-HOLES, really? yeesh...
