I bought this band at the same time I bought the watch. I have never taken off my Ionic. Most that don't like this band is because of two reasons (from what I've read in reviews). One is for aesthetics. While it adds a significant amount of bulk to an already large watch, IT IS A PROTECTIVE BAND! It does a fantastic job of actually PROTECTING the watch. I run, swim, weight lift and bang kettlebells against this band and not even SCRATCH on the watch face. Which brings me to the second reason people don't like it. You can't use a screen protector with it. Well people...you dont need one with this band!
I use my Ionic to measure my physical work output ( i.e. workouts, steps taken, heart rate, sleep patterns etc.) So the aesthetics, while not an ugly band, is not that important to me. What IS of great importance to me is that my Ionic is protected. This band does a great job of that. So if your looking for a band that will protect your investment, look no further and buy this one! 👍👍👍👍👍
What I like about this product is that it looks like a G-Shock watch on my wrist. I know the protection is there because I knocked my wrist against the door a couple times. The Fitbit Ionic fits into the housing with little force; although I don't intend to take it out as often unless I needed to clean it.
What I don't like about this product is that the bands are not as comfortable as the original bands. This bands is made of rubber, a bit softer than my G-Shock bands, but they're harder than the Fitbit original bands. You trade comfort for protection, I guess.
The neutral thing that I neither like or hate, was that the housing appears bulky, or large. It felt as if I have an OtterBox on my wrist. But that us subjective depending on how big or small your wrist is. Well, ask around from your OtterBox friends about how big or small their OtterBox is. See who will respond that their OtterBox is small.
I bought this for $18 on Amazon. I waited until my Fitbit Ionic arrived to feel how the original bands was.
This is a great rugged protective case for your Ionic. It offers full enclosure protection for your Ionic watch body and it doesn't add too much bulk, but it definitely gives your Ionic more presence on your wrist if you like like tough, rugged G-Shock aesthetic. The matte black finish also makes your Ionic more stealthy and low-key. With it on, you'd be hard pressed to guess it was an Ionic on your wrist unless you looked closely.
The only nitpick to using this is that you can't just use the watch body case and then attach different straps to it (like a NATO strap) since the straps are permanently attached to the body as one piece. Other than that, great, simple product to protect your Ionic.
It's hard to think of anything negative to say about this product. I needed a band that was durable and comfortable enough to be worn at work all day. This was exactly what I needed. I rarely ever take off my Fitbit Ionic and I've yet to experience any discomfort with this band.
The most important feature of this band is that there are no joints connecting the band to the Fitbit, like the factory band that comes with the Fitbit. This locks over the top of the Fitbit without any latches so the entire band is one just peace of rubber. Essentially, the only way the Fitbit could fall off is if the buckle side of the band were broken.
Of course, this does have an impact on the aesthetics. If your looking for a band that will make your Fitbit more like Jewelry and are more concerned with style than efficiency, then I would suggest you swap this out for your more stylish bands when you are not being active.
This did not come with a screen protector but at this price, you could afford to buy that separately.
You've spent a bunch of money on a smart fitness device, don't skimp on its protection. The watch fits snugly inside of the Supcase and has a raised edge around the face to help protect the screen. The band also secures like a traditional watch, not like the weird band that comes with the Ionic. My last Fitbit was the Surge, and its band was neoprene and was very comfortable. Unfortunately, this band is a harder rubber like what you would find on an Ironman watch, but it seems very sturdy and durable. Also, it doesn't breath as well as the neoprene. If I loosen the band to give my wrist some room its too loose, so I have to deal with it. It's not the fault of the product; it's just the way it fits me personally. I have seen complaints about the case making the buttons hard to use, but I have not found this to be a problem. The buttons function fine with mine. It does take a little more effort, but not enough to be an issue. The second issue I have seen in other reviews is other people have had problems using a screen protector with the Supcase. Again, I have not had a problem with the case damaging my screen protector. I can't say why one person would have an issue and another wouldn't. It may be a variance in the product, the particular screen protector used, or maybe the protector wasn't installed correctly. Who knows? The bottom line is this; if my Fitbit outlasts this band, I will buy another.

The band is very comfortable, it is a little more bulky than I excepted but it has to be to armor the watch. It to its first hit at work and didn’t even scratch it. I can live with the bulky as long as it saves the watch. Overall love the band think it’s tight on the Fitbit so it’s very secure and reccessed in enough that it prevents scratch’s.
Fits perfect, no play at all, feels secure. A little bit bulky for a small wrist but rather have that than a broken screen, which seems is a trademark on Fitbit screens.
Used a screen protector recommended by another reviewer and it works great (iq screen protector-gave it about 8-12 hrs for screen protector to settle in place and eliminate bubbles- worth the wait, it looks seamless), you do need to put some
Pressure to fit it in, I was worried for this because another reviewer said it damaged his screen protector, nothing happened to mine.
Not a fan of the carbon fiber look in anything, so it was kinda of a dealbreaker when I was researching for a tougher case, but you can’t even tell the sides are like that, the satin finish on the main case has great Design lines.
Very satisfied by this band’s quality, time of shipping as advertised!
I ordered the Supcase for my new Ionic to protect it and also I have a Supcase UB case for my smartphone. Let me say it didn't disappoint. Knowing how the case for my phone has protected and endured over the last 5 years, it helped me to continue to use the same phone and save money and hassels of buying a new phone.
That said, this case for the Ionic is just as good.
1. I use the 6 pack IQ Liquidskin screen protector and the watch fits perfectly into the Supcase band. The screen protector is cheap and well worth the money.
2. This Supcase makes the Ionic look like a G Shock watch. Looks rugged and light giving it an overall protection.
3. Good for outdoor activities while saving your investment.
4. Easy installation and easy removal to switch bands.
5. I also bought the KIMLAR Ionic charging stand and it can charge my Ionic with the Supcase LEFT ON. It's only $10 here on Amazon.
I wish this band comes in other colors like Grey or Gunmetal. That would be cool.
I figure I will be leaving my Ionic in the Supcase most of the time. Other times, I can switch the bands or wear one of my other regular watches based on the occasion. Try this Supcase and go check out their phone cases and some comes with screen protector built in to protect that giant ass phone screen you got. It's very good and costs less than other name brands.
As I am quite busy with my hands at work/home/etc, you dont really realize the important things around you or ON you when youre doing stuff. I had a Blaze prior, recently a Ticwatch Pro and I always have purchased a hard cover for them all. Yeah, you say to yourself at first, "HEY MAN I JUST SPENT $$$$$$$ ON THIS WATCH WHY DO I WANT TO COVER IT UP?!!!" Then after youre like, "MAN THANK GOD I HAD THAT COVER ON WHEN I BANGED MY WATCH ON THE CORNER OF THAT METAL FENCE!" Yes, the pro and con of needing a cover these days for our watches is very, very important.
I do think the whole band/cover is stylish&modern and doesnt feel too bulky for what its trying to do other than protecting your expensive fitbit you just bought weeks ago. So far Ive been impressed and will hope it lasts based off the quality of the material.
Score: 5/5
Band is easy to apply to your fitbit and comfortable on your wrist. Does add a little bulk to the tracker so if you want to keep it sleek, remember that. I go between the stock fit-bit band and the SupCase, just because that's me. If you wear your tracker you ARE going to bump it against things and the raised edges of the Beetle Pro do protect the screen as well. Does not interfere with screen or buttons. One other thing to pay attention to: if you use a charging stand or base, the Beetle Pro may hamper how your tracker fits on the base. It's easily removed from the band for charging. Just something to think about. Not a deal breaker for me. Overall- very satisfied.
