Indomie Mi Goreng Instant Stir Fry Noodles, Halal Certified, Original Flavor,30 Count

This stuff destroyed my life. Don't do it. Don't order it. 30 is too much you will end up eating it all in a week and a half and destroying your body, mind, family, friends, and job. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I should have listened to a review not to do it, not to order this! why didn't i listen?! it'll consume your soul with its deliciousness and it'll occupy your every thought whenever you get even a tiny bit hungry. i sacrificed so much of my life savings just to keep having this heroin in noodle form. please heed our warning give these noodles a pass and order something less tastefully addicting!

Sunday, Oct. 8, approximately 3:30 p.m. - I received a sample to try at the Taste of DC food festival as well as a full-size sample to bring home and make myself.

Sunday, Oct. 8/Monday, Oct. 9 - circa midnight - back home in NYC, I cooked up my ramen sample and fell in love.

I had no choice but to add a case of noodles to my Amazon cart.

I then proceeded to get on Fresh and found LOTS OF OTHER DELICIOUS THINGS TO ROUND OUT MY RAMEN, such as bok choy, green onions, sesame oil, sambal oelek, sriracha, eggs, and red cabbage. Groceries arriving Tuesday morning.

Monday, Oct. 9, approximately 9 a.m. - I finally actually purchased the noodles and am currently planning a week's worth of ramen variations.

It's a lifestyle, people.

They are amazing lol. Nothing like noodles that have the same type of packaging as these. These noodles are terrific!! I wouldn’t use all the chilli sauce though!! 🔥 🔥 🔥 haha. I highly recommend these honest to god! I always have 2 unopened boxes at my disposal. This can make amazing SHTF food also! I have 5 boxes in my prep stash. Easy to make and delicious. Get these you won’t be disappointed!

Still love them! Eating 2 now. A box will last you a while I wouldn’t eat this everyday probably isn’t that healthy for everyday. I’d use a quarter of the chilli sauce. It’ll give it a kick but not to bad!

I've heard only good things about these noodles across the internet, and as a big fan of instant ramen, I had to try them. Although a 10 pack was the smallest amount I could find, I definitely don't regret the purchase.

The noodles are great- a perfect savory blend of soy and chili sauces, which are added as a sort of stir-fry sauce to the drained noodles rather than a soup base. The garnishes for the noodles also include some sort of oil with onion and some additional dried bits of fried onion to put on top, which add a subtle texture to the dish. One thing I will say though, is that all of the packaged ingredients together make the noodles taste quite a bit like fried onions, which might not be to your personal preference (of course you could always just omit one of the packets from the noodles!)

Additionally, I tried preparing the noodles as shown on the package- with a fried egg and some veggies, and it was great! I wholeheartedly recommend these guys if you're looking for a new type of instant ramen-type meals or are simply looking to explore a little bit.

Description

Indomie Mi Goreng is an instant noodles product line made under the Indomie brand by the Indofood company, the world's largest instant noodle manufacturer, located in Indonesia. Mi Goreng is Indonesian for "fried noodle". Indomie Mi Goreng is simply abbreviated as Indomie goreng by most Indonesians. Indomie Goreng is a type of instant noodle served without soup and is stirred well with soysauce, oil, and seasoning. This instant noodle derived its inspiration from traditional Indonesian dish called mi goreng, a variant of fried noodle common in Indonesia. Many street vendors sell it and traditional mi goreng is considered as common food by the people. This product has gained a cult following in Indonesia and in various other countries, such as Nigeria and Australia.

My first time trying noodles of this style. These are a bit more complex to make than your standard ramen noodles to make. However, I found the flavor to be very rich, with a decent level of spiciness, neither too hot or too mild. After eating these I have had no desire to go back to the standard ramen flavors you find in most stores.

This particular flavor comes with 5 packets:
1 Dry seasoning package
1 Dried onion pieces package
1 Sweet Soy sauce packet
1 Onion sauce packet? (I am not entirely sure about this one)
1 Spicy Chili sauce packet

You can easily skip out any individual flavors you don't like, such as removing or reducing the spiciness. However, I recommend using all 5 to really bring out the flavor.
It can be tricky to open the sauce packets, and the onion and chili sauce packets are very oily.

I honestly wasn't placing too much hope in this product because sometimes things from other places don't taste as good. Well, I'm glad to say I was wrong!!! Our newly delivered pack of 30 is down 5 in one day! Everything about it from aroma to flavor.. nom nom nom!! I'll be ordering more ASAP. Do yourselves a favor a get hooked like we have!!!

I found these instant noodles while living as a young adult in Australia and fell in love with them. Not only is the seasoning powder tasty, this instant noodle also comes with seasoned oil, hot sauce, sweet soy sauce, and fried onions. What American brand of instant noddle can compete with such amazing choices for a party in your mouth?! In addition, the price for these noodles on Amazon ($16) is often cheaper than what I can find at my local Asian market. The knowledge that I can get affordable mi goreng any time no matter where I live in the U.S. brings a sense of tasteful security to my psyche.

The one drawback is if you are worried about monosodium glutamate (MSG). The seasoning powder and chili sauce both include MSG. But, you can still use the other packets if you want to avoid the MSG (sweet soy, oil, and fried onion), so even this doesn't have to be a downside to these noodles, just in how you consume their delectable options.

This is my first time purchasing this product online but I have bought these exact type of noodles from my local Asian market before. I have Amazon prime so it arrives in about a day or so. I have attached photos. It is so delicious, they are my favorite noodles!

So yeah, I've been let down by a lot of 'internet hype food'. Korean spicy noodles? Not my thing.

These however... amazing. They are similar to maruchan instant yakisoba, but simply on an entirely different level. The spices and syrup and oil and crunchy nuts included are absolutely fantastic, a pure savory umami-bomb that just hits the spot. The noodles themselves? Try a nibble without cooking them some time. They're flavorful in and of themselves. I simply can't believe how much flavor they pack into such a small wrapper. Oh yeah. Each package is quite small, by the way. A single bag feels like a snack, though two bags is just right for me.

You don't actually have to fry these noodles for a minute after boiling (if you just can't wait), but it makes them that much better. I like to fry an egg and then use the pan for the noodles afterwards. With added meat or eggs, it's a -meal- and that's something you can't say about many instant noodles of any type.

This very well may be the only instant ramen I eat from now on. They are just that good, and anything I buy from the grocery store just pales in comparison.

I bought the ten pack and before I ran out I bought a 30 count box. It was a great deal too... $18,00. In fact, I'm hesitant to even post this review. If these surge in popularity again the price may very well skyrocket once more.

Update: Yep. You can observe the fluctuating prices on this item. That's about the only downside -- the price just goes up and down as it pleases.
