Bought this for my dogs obviously and right out of the package there were 3 small holes. Luckily the pool came with a small square of a repair adhesive that did the trick and I still have plenty left.. I have a small 20 pound dog and another 12 pound dog and they both fit with plenty of room. I'd say one large dog would be comfortable with this pool. I opted out of getting a cheap hard plastic kiddie pool because this pool can easily be empties out and deflated.
I live with a large breed dog that was a rescue, so we don't know whole lot about his pedigree, but we do know he LOVES THE WATER! As we don't live near a lake or pond, this pool was perfect. It's tough enough to stand up to his considerably strong nails, and as he jumps in and out the sides give enough if he happens to go over the high side that we don't lose a whole lot of the water. We set it up on the patio with a thick (1in) rubber square robbed from the pick-up bed rather than kill the grass in the yard. When it gets in the mid 80's on up he'll spend most of the day bobbing for cherry tomatos snagged off the bushes growing next to his pool, and when he gets tired of that he'll just lay down in it with just his head above water and chill out. This pool is highly recommended to water loving dogs of all kinds. We also have a little 18 lb.heinz-57 who can jump in over other lower sections of the pool, but all he's interested in is stealing brother's tomato, and getting right back out! Soon as they quit using it we're packing it up for next summer (something we couldn't do with a rigid pool) as this is definitely not a throw-away. Looks and lasts like a quality product.
My dogs both like this pool they had a lot of fun on those hot days , it was very well packaged and was very fast to deliver , I had a problem with my first one but it was quickly resolved and I was happy .i have a 7 lbs shihpoo and an jelly lab and they were both in it at the same time ,.Thank you

We have a terrier / foxhound mix that loves to run. Unfortunately, she is heat sensitive and overheats easily but she isn't very good at slowing down because of it. We bought one of these pools for her to cool off in. Once she got used to it (about two ball tosses), we can't keep her out of it. She likes to jump around in it, lay down in it and just dunk her nose in it for fun. We like it because it can be blown up in sections and there is a drain plug in the bottom. I'm buying a second one to have in another area for her.
My dogs don’t like to swim but on hot days they will get in the water. This pool is perfect with the lower sides so they can get in and out easily. It blows up quickly and easy to roll up and store.
Bought this for my 3 Aussiedoodles. They loved it! Easy to jump in and out, soft to lean/lay on, and pretty durable! However...woke up to a deflated/destroyed pool...a raccoon that lives in our old tree bit into the pool so much, couldn't be repaired. I'm bummed!
Perfect for mid-winter bath. Our giant breed dog is elderly and 120lbs. Most difficult to negotiate stairs and bathtub. This pool was easy to inflate, easy for him to step into, and we left the drain plug out for slow draining water. The floor is slick, though. Next time we'll need to use his cushioned floor mats to give him more traction.
I love this pool, my little 10 lbs dog - not so much, but she is not thrilled about ANY pool I bought for her so far. If I put her in there she stays, but wont go in on her own. But that's just the way my dog is. However, the pool itself is great, light, perfect size for a small or medium dog, easy to drain and clean, no holes. I use it myself a lot on my patio for sun bathing.
