Technologically innovative doorbell! So simple to install and program your favorite tune even a nitwit can do it. Although it does have one annoying characteristic (Electric service interruption will reset your chosen "chime" back to the default "ding-dong"), it isHighly recommended.
Works great. Just sticked the button near the door and plugged the unit into an outlet. Might be a problem using the adhesive pad if it will get wet. Mine is under an overhang. Screws came with the unit but it was not clear how you would attach with the screws. Likely will have to remove the adhesive pad to get to the screw holes if they exist.
I received this order a week ago and immediately stuck the door bell by the front door. The ringing part went to the far corner of my house and plugged into the electrical outlet. That was it - the installation part. I was skeptical about the 'no battery" part but the door bell is working loud enough to here the sound everywhere in my house. It's an amazing device and i hope it'll last longer than my previous two with batteries.
I recommend it to everybody who needs a door bell!
Doorbell DOA . . . this was an easy fix. Our doorbell died and we didn't want to go through an involved replacement. This took all of 5 minutes to set up. I will admit that the volume control was necessary and glad it was there. There were also many sounds to choose from and since it's the holidays we're on "jingle bells" for the time being.
We were so impressed with this doorbell. We have had 3 different doorbells in less than 15 years. Either they quit working, buttons wore out (I don't even have that many people ringing my doorbell)or just didn't work. When we saw this ran without batteries we decided to give it a try. Bingo...plugged it in right out of box and installed button in about 2 minutes. Easy and has a great sound and we can move it around...thanks for a great product I can't find in stores!

Amazingly the Piezo electric powered doorbell transmitter works consistently through two heavy steel doors and the poured concrete walls of the building to the receiver about 40 feet away. I really like not having a battery in the doorbell transmitter to go dead.
I would buy the doorbell and 100 VAC receiver set again.
This system could not have been easier to install. There are so many "chimes" to choose from, but many of them sound like bad cell phone ring tones. I stuck with the traditional double doorbell ring, and even it sounds very electronic, but it serves the purpose, and the entire set-up took maybe 5 minutes.
I like this doorbell. It has a loud enough ring to hear throughout the house. The second bell is in a back room and works well. Friends have commented that the button is nice and large to push. Easy to install.
The last doorbell I bought from Lowes lasted maybe 2 months, had one ring type, and had to drilled into the door. This one has dozens of ring types and you can use the double sided tape to put it up, not to mention it has been working with zero issues for months.
This is a brilliant idea. Our previous wireless doorbells were frequently not working and we wouldn't know. So far this one has been working perfectly.
