it was what it says it is. I thought the paper would be thicker but it doesn't really matter. OK, it comes tightly wrapped in thin plastic that you then have to peel off. The colors are pretty much the same but, I got a very thin line of the red page on the spiral side of my notebook. it wasn't very visible. About the size of a line of your average pen.
I wish it didn't have the "AMAZON BASICS" logo on the top, it gives it more of a branded look, which personally, I dislike. Personal preference there. Overall i gave it a 4 because of my red line, and the thinness of paper.
All in all, this was a good purchase. Five, 100-sheet notebooks for under $10 is a good deal in my opinion. The pattern and color options are great - I had a hard time choosing. You have the option to purchase a set with less pages if you don't need 100-sheets.
Pros: I like the pattern that I chose, I also like that there was more than one pattern to choose from. The pattern is on the front and back covers. Price for five, 100-sheet notebooks was a good deal. Prime shipping was available as this is an Amazon product. The sheets are easy to write on and are college ruled. The sheets are perforated so you can remove them easily from the notebooks.
Cons: The main con, and the reason for 4 stars is that it's not easy to write on without it being on a table or clipboard of sorts. It would be nice if the back cover was a little more durable.

This is a bit better than your average notebook.
PROS:
-The paper has good quality! The thickness of the paper is perfect.
-There's not as much smudging when erasing!
CONS:
-The corners of the notebook will "curve" if you keep it in your backpack.
OVERALL:
Yes, buy it! It's cheaper than other notebook brands and its quality is excellent!
I really appreciate that Amazon has some simple basic supplies that I need for everyday life. The pages were standard, no bleed through with your standard pens, everything arrived on time, in appropriate packaging, not damaged. Education costs so much already, it's just nice to have an affordable option for the accoutrement.
I bought these last minute for my classes and I do not regret it! They work great for my classes and are good quality! The only down side is the price, I wish it was more affordable. Otherwise, these are great notebooks and do not fall apart or have an extra wiring hanging out like other notebooks! Great product Amazon!

When you put ink to this paper, the paper does it’s job beautifully. No smudges. Only thing I dislike is the spiral edge, but for the low cost, no big deal.
The price was good. I am giving them 4 starts as the paper is fine for normal use. Dropping 1 start as tactiley it was not the same as to grade paper. It wasn't as bad as skimming as news paper. But I will give it away and look for a higher grade and paper weight.

We like this product. We use them for our sales team to write the items a customer wants on their order, prior to entering the items in the computer. We like the spiral bound better than the note pads. We will purchase these again.
It has holes and perferations. The lines are clearly marked. 100 sheets. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is I wish it was 150 sheets and the paper was a little softer or thicker.
