I have experienced four different brands of 3D pens. I really love this pen. It's easy to use. I really like the way when you insert the filament at the tip and press the forward button, it immediately grabs the filament and in no time, it's extruding filament! The speed of extruding is easily adjusted. Removing the filament is the easiest among the other three brands I've used. You simply click on the reverse button and out it comes speedily. This makes it so much easier for young creators to use. Switching between ABS and PLA is quick and easy. The pen heats up quickly. It times out in 2 minutes with non use making it safe for all users. The support stand that comes with it makes it easier to store the pen. It also comes with 12 different colors of filament and I'm really surprised how long the pieces last for creating 3D designs. I would recommend this pen again and again. Besides that, the customer service is amazing. Quick response time very personable!
This was the third 3d pen we had tried, and by far the best. The Canbor 3d pen II design is easy for little hands to hold and manipulate while creating. It heats quickly and is ready to use in seconds. It came with a good amount of filiment to start practicing with, but I would recommend ordering more filiment with the purchase to keep the creativity going. This is a perfect gift for both children and adults who are creative, or like DIY projects. My kid made a camera stand to record YouTube videos hands free. I highly recommend the Canbor 3d pen II
Me and my kid were very into craft tools these days. At first 3D pen was just a thought that I could write beautiful signature or greetings so my kid can glue them on the card or whatever. When we actually used this item we found out there are so much more the pen can do! so we grab a picture book (with glossy surface) and trace the lines of the pictures, waited until it dried and peel it off (takes less than 1 minutes). Though it says a kid can do it, It did require some skill when using if you want it looks great. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who is into craft, and remember to get enough filaments so you could really enjoy the fun!.
I bought this with the separate order of extra filaments (so I wouldn’t run out) and I am so glad that I did!
This is my first 3D pen and it has quite a learning curve. Not the equipment mind you, the pen is so easy to control and use and very adaptive, the difficulty lies in learning how to create what you want out of moving hot plastic. Now as challenging as it is ive really enjoyed myself and it hasn’t used much filament in my playing around. I’ve used up maybe 2 full strands worth making several miniatures. I do recommend if you buy this or any 3D pen to get a silicone mat or something because drawing on paper is nice until you have to remove the piece and drawing on tin foil is great for non stick but for some pieces you need the initial stick to get the piece started. Just trust me on this. Overall such a great purchase definitely cant wait til I get better at making things so that my creations can be truly limitless.
Update: a word of caution in regards to a small card included with the product. It encourages you to fill out an honest review for the product and share it via email with the company in exchange you are promised a list of rewards that as it turns out you don’t receive most of them.
Now don’t get me wrong canbor has been very kind and provides great customer service. They just appear to over exaggerate the rewards for filling out and submitting a review.
Now once more this 3D pen is wonderful and I am having an amazing time working with it and creating beautiful pieces with it and hope others enjoy it as well!
I have purchased a couple of 3D pens because I really like having the ability to print/draw from home and my office and shop.
This pen is by far my favorite.
It has easy control of speeds, temputure, and material choices.
It is easy to load and super fast to heat up.
Seriously this pen heats up to temp to use in about 20 seconds: which is super fast in comparison to my other pens.
In my opinion this pen beats out other pens by a mile.

I've been eyeing a 3-d Pen for a while because they looked so cool. I finally decided to take the leap when I found this one for a great price. Now I don't self identify as an artist but I do art as a hobby, if that makes sense. There definitely is a learning curve but that it no fault of the product itself, it's definitely the user. Like I said I'm not an artist lol. I watched YouTube videos and eventually I got the hang of it. I like this 3D pen because it heats up pretty quickly and functions well. The speed at which the filament comes out is good (not too fast or slow) and it's easy to change the filament between colors. It fits well in your hand and with some adult supervision is okay for older kids. I liked that it came with sample filaments, because I didn't have to buy those to just try it out. Definitely buy a non stick mat. I had one because I'm a crafter and its worth the extra investment. You can use it without one, like with freezer paper but it's hard to get started. Plus eventually freezer paper you'll have to throw away and I just prefer a reusable Matt as to not create extra waste.
I surprised my daughter with this 3D pen and was actually very impress on how much fun she is having. Delivery was super fast, Instructions were easy to follow as well. Im very happy to see my daughter having so much fun creating lots of stuff. Even i tried it and its actually more fun that i thought it would be, its great that we can share ideas and be creative and just have a great time. I do recomment this item and it would be a great present.
I am using it for few months already and so far no issues. Pen heats fast, lightweight, easy to operate. Detailed instruction. It has ABS and PLA modes and comes with 2 small bags of filaments. So far I used only PLA. It is really fun to use pen and be creative.
2 small bugs of filament have multiple colors which let me experiment a lot. However I run out of included filaments too fast.
So far I like the pen but not much the white pen holder. It works but it's small. Each time I am affraid pen would fall out when I accidentally lightly touch filament hunging from pen. I wish pen can be easy taken out of holder (as it wors now) and at the same time it shouldn't shake when I accidentally touch filament piece hanging from pen.
I purchased 3D pen for my daughter and she loved it. It's pretty easy to use even you didng read the instructions. For the price, this is an amazing 3D Pen. The pen warm up faster & creativity is the limit! I highly recommend .

My 9 year old son loves this... in fact the whole family loves building with this 3D pen. We have already used up all of the filaments and need to order more. It's a lot of fun and there is NO mess and the melted PLA filaments dry immediately. There are so many bright and fun colors that come with it, but I would recommend ordering more while you are at it. He has had other 3D pens in the past and they have been messy, difficult, take forever to dry, or just a pain to use. This is very simple that even my 5 year old has enjoyed making projects. I do wish that it came with some stencils or something like that, but it has been fun using our imaginations. Well worth the money.
