Fun product. Definitely more pixels for design over Divoom Aurabox. Documentation is rather limited so you are on your own to discover some features and functions. The Animation design/editor lacks any copy and paste features from other frames. The most you have is copy last frame. I think the frame limit is 24 so the animation sequence is a bit limited. It is easier to design pics and animations on a tablet than a phone. There are a couple items in the Game channel but I found them to be unplayable. I would recommend this to someone who is into pixel art. There are lots of folks that have published their designs and animations for download and inspiration. You do need WiFi or a wireless connection to view those.
If your a fan of 8 bit pixel art this box is great! You can make pixel animations using the phone app or they have a large selection already made by others on the app too. The only negative I have is the app is a little confusing due to no real instructions but once you play around with it you can figure it out. You can store 12 different pictures/animations of your own on the box with lots already preloaded. It's a fun gadget for a desk or hanging on the wall. It has a built in battery that lasts for 5 hours but I use it plugged in. I would definitely recommend this product.
Bought this to sit on my desk. I have it set to rotate through the time, date and weather. The phone app really allows you to add tons of different pictures and icons. It's pretty amazing just how many different options you have on the app. Had no trouble connecting to my phone by bluetooth. I love the clap to wake or sleep setting.
There is no speaker on this but I don't want it for that anyway.
Looks great on my desk and think it's a great deal for the money.

This thing is awesome, super cool product. The only reason for 4 stars is because the app to use it is a little weird to get used to (not very intuitive) but it works.
I bought this for my school primary kids and had them each design a frame, they really enjoyed it and it looks great on my wall in my classroom.
As an adult, probably less appeal.
This version of all the divoom items has the most pixels, which really helps.
Cool desk accessory. Thought i could use it for things like twitch & fb notifications but you cant. It can still show temperature, time, and thousands of static and dynamic animations. For example, a face that moves its mouth that reacts to sound in the room.
These are so fun to have used! I would buy it again if they would make a big Divoom Pixoo Digital Frame up tp 20 x 20.
