Oh em gee! I love it! I finally decided to jump into the letterbooard craze and I am so happy I went with this one! I have looked at so many that we’re SO much more expensive. This is definitely worth more than what you pay for it! The board is way sturdy and so far the stand and the letters have held up to my 1yr old pounding on them. The only thing is that my storage box was kind of broken when it arrived, but it’s not a big deal as it’s still functional and I’m happy to have it to organize all those characters. Speaking of all of those... Phew! Cutting them out takes ages. But that’s just because you get so many! Just turn on a movie or binge watch a show or something and you’ll survive. Use good scissors and you might not even need to file them! In sum: cute, sturdy, love!
Addendum: After be able to contact the company, they immediately issued me a full refund including shipping and sent me a replacement letter board which I received within 48 hours. I could not be more satisfied with the way they made the situation right. The new board has multiples of all the 2” letters of the alphabet and the scissors work great. I am loving this fun announcement board!!!
My original post: I decided to purchase this board because of the great reviews. I actually tried to find a way to contact the shop before writing a poor review, but I was unable to. When I first opened the amazon box and saw the little hippo box, I immediately noticed that the box itself was ripped and damaged and the sticker to seal the box was broken and dirty. It looked like a returned item from the start. A lot of the letters on clear organizer were scratched off. I was most excited about the 2 inch letters. It was supposed to come with 93 letter with all symbols. I only got 73 letters and symbols. And the only letters were M N O P Q S. I got about 10 Os and 5 Qs. I’m not sure what they expect anyone to be able to spell with that! I started going through the smaller letter which were all jumbled together, but got so discouraged I stopped. The little snips that it came with were bent and dull, I couldn’t get it to cut a piece of thread let alone the plastic it was made to trim. I am also highly upset because When i purchased this, I paid almost $14 extra to rush ship it to receive it yesterday for my wedding today and I can’t even use it!! I will definitely be returning this!
AWESOME product! Arrived very quickly, was packaged well and very nice quality! Super nice to have the storage tray option as well as the cloth bag for the letters. I added some letters and literally pounded on the back of the board to see if they would fall out. Not one single letter came out. I think it it got knocked over on a table they would probably stay in and short of dropping it on the floor upside down, you don't have to worry about the letters falling out. Only one tiny little thing .... I would liked the easel to be a bit taller so that the board would stand up straighter. Maybe some rubber stoppers on the easel feet so they won't slide on a slick surface. But .... the easel did work just fine and I can add my own rubber stoppers. VERY HAPPY with my purchase!
This is so worth the little bit you pay! The package arrived cutely wrapped and the frame/stand are actually more solid than I thought I would get for the price. You *do* need to set aside some time to separate all of the letters, and make sure you have some super sharp craft scissors. If you cut the letters bottom-side up and facing you, you will make sure you don't accidentally cut off the holders for the letters - I was glad I figured that out early. Some letters "grip" better than others but they have all stayed in the board. The mail file is clutch to smooth out the edges of the letters after you cut them, and I like that there is a plastic box to store the letters so you're not trying to find an errant "A" in a bag (one of which is also provided, I assume for the shapes and numbers). The only thing that wasn't indicative of the rest of the set's quality was the plastic storage box itself - the logo wiped off pretty much when I took it out of the box, which isn't a dealbreaker but something I thought the manufacturer should know. Super cute little item!

Time consuming initially, then fun!
Wow, it took a long time to cut off the excess pieces!!! I probably spent 2-3 hours going through each piece. Thank goodness you only have to do that once! But they give you the nice scissors to do so.
I really like the little organizer box that comes with it. I wish there were more spots so I could give each letter its own spot, but it works! And it’s so much better than just having everything thrown in a bag. The different sizes are nice, and there are a lot of symbols.
My husband told me that he was in disbelief that I had the patience for something like this, so I suppose be wary of that. It is kind of time consuming to not only cut off the excess but also put the actual letters on the board. However, If you like doing menial, mind numbing things like I do it’s a lot of fun!
It did fall off the table I had it on once, my own fault, and the letters flew EVERYWHERE. They’re not super secure when placed in the felt. Just be cautious of that because the little pieces flew everywhere and could be a choking hazard in the wrong little hands!!
Overall, I’m having a lot of fun with this and I’m glad I bought this one!!

I LOVE this board. The package was wrapped beautifully. I was actually quite shocked when I opened it up and saw it. You never see anything like it coming from Amazon. The price is a steal for what you get. The plastic sorting box is a life saver. If it didnt have one I would have had to purchase one. I didnt realize you get 2 sizes of letters. The package was just better than I thought it was going to be. I wish I would have purchased a larger board. I highly, highly recommend this bundle.
My only changes would be to have more of the letter K and be able to get the wood in a darker finish.
UPDATE:
The seller contacted me about my experience and went above and beyond to remedy the situation, they even sent me a new set of letters and numbers overnight.
While the situation wasn’t ideal it’s very clear that my experience was the exception, and the seller values customer service and quality. Aside from the missing numbers situation, the product itself is very fine quality. I tried several other letter boards before this one and they were all of inferior quality. This one is well made, sturdy, and looks much more expensive than it is.
Accordingly, I am revising my review from one star to four for the exceptional customer service provided, and because it truly seems my situation was an anomaly.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I bought this to use in my newborn daughter’s hospital bassinet to announce her birth.
I got her name, the month, the letters for the ounces, pounds, and inches ready in advance of labor so all I had to do was plug in the date, time, and the numbers for the rest when delivery time came.
Well imagine my surprise when I find that amongst the medium sized letters there is only ONE number one?!? Yup! You read that right, ONE! Insanity! I now have to use uppercase letter I’s for ones and I know to some that may be trivial but it’s super annoying because the one number one that was included is much more attractive and very clearly a number one with the stylized upper swipe.
But, I’m stuck with this board and there is nothing I can do. Horrible quality control that has resulted in an irreparable disappointment.
I’m sharing not because this is earth shatteringly bad, but because I know there are other mamas out there who will want to avoid this situation. To those mamas I implore you to confirm number counts prior to going to the hospital! I made the dumb mistake of assuming that a product with such plentiful and exceedingly excellent reviews would not fall so short. Don’t do the same thing. Be doubtful of quality! This is the shortfall of precut letters in a box! You cannot see the sheets and know they’re complete. I strongly speculate I was sent a used product! ><
I have wanted a letter board for my classroom (ELD teacher here) for quite some time. I looked into all options and had this letterboard saved on my wish list for over 6 months just waiting to see if I found something better. I didn't and I can promise you that you won't either. For the same price of one at Target you get 3 different letter sizes including shapes and embellishments, all the letters already clipped out of the plastic, a pair of scissors to trim the extra plastic, a plastic container for the letters and a tripod stand for the board. This seriously is a ton of items for the same price as some of their competitors letter board & letters only. I own one at home from Wal-Mart and Target and they do not compare. Definitely a great buy!

I really like the letter board itself, the letters stay on great and I appreciate the case for the letters, along with the large selection of letters provided! All of the letters are uppercase - I wish some lowercase options were available. The packaging is also top notch, but somewhat unnecessary. My complaints are similar to those of other reviewers. The stand is worthless - while mine didn't break like other reviewers, the weight of the board results in the stand resting at a 45 degree angle. I didn't mind since there are other ways to showcase the board. It is also a HUGE PAIN to remove all the letters. It takes hours just to twist/cut them off the mold. I didn't even attempt to file down the knobs that are left over - I figured I would do it as I used the letters. While I appreciate that they included a file board, it is a very tiny thin board that is only 2-3 inches long and lasts for about 20 minutes. My ultimate impression - I would have paid extra to have the letters pre-removed and filed, the board itself is top notch, throw away the stand, the letter case is awesome and the price is reasonable.
