I love love the idea of solar. I am all for it! These light stands are so pretty. I love how it created a lovely celtic shadow pattern in my pathway. My daughter thinks it is the best thing and loves to walk back and forth our pathway. It was very easy to assemble and easy to plant it in the ground. The lights turns off when charging then lit up at night because the sun is out. It is made of hard plastic and once it is place on the ground, it surely made it look like it is metal. The only reason I gave it 4 star is because the bulb is so tiny, it is a bit deem. But the look is elegant and pretty , it deserves to be put out to shine your pathway, driveway, garden etc.
Bought two sets of pathway lights before and needed some more that look a bit different this time and then I ran into this set. The quality is pretty nice and the light that comes out looks pretty. I wish the brightness could be a bit more brighter but still acceptable for now. The cool thing that I like the most about these lights are that the rechargeable batteries can actually be changed. The current ones are like 200mAh, which is alright. Not sure if it is ok to use higher capacity batteries (will it make them brighter if anyone ever tried?) So far, I estimate based on experience observing them that they light up for around 4-5 hours for where I live with moderate amount of light.
I set my lights up in the sun and had some trouble with turning them on later that night. The seller was super nice about emailing me the directions. The lights came on and were absolutely beautiful! I am very happy with the shadows that they cast. They light up a path in my yard and surround my pool. I did have one light that did not have a working knob. Once again, the seller came through, I was sent me a replacement and it works! I am very happy with this purchase.
It is very pretty. The carvings made it even prettier and cuter. It saves electricity and works great. You dont even need to go back and forth turning it on and off. Just one click and just leave it out there. Highly recommended.

My wife love's these walkway solar lights. They do as they are supposed to do; light and mark the walkway into our from and side door. We bought 2 packages.
